I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to the Big Island twice in my life. May ‘23 I took this drive. At the 12:05 mark in this video is where I got real emotional the first time in my life from seeing something. That tree is the most beautiful representation of strength I’ve ever seen in nature. God willing, I can meet the landowner next time and visit it. The most beautiful road in the world!

Nice video with the drone and showing all the different places from above. Raised in Waikoloa village from the early 70s its nice to see Waikoloa beach drive from an view above which most don't get to see. Cheers!

next time do the pretty side... Puna Hilo and Hamakua ie devils throat, the great 8 mile crack the volcanoes the hot ponds the 120+ large waterfalls coconut island, kalapana, kaimu kehena kapoho 30 large craters laupahoehoe hakalau waipio etc. all can be done WITHOUT MAN MADE Rubbish in view! aroha

a Megaledon Tooth is 10 times older than this island... this island is almost twice as large as the other main islands combined, MaunaKea is the tallest moiuntain on earth form base to summit, MaunaLoa is the most massive at 212 times the size of Mt. Shasta... Kure, the oldest Hawaiian island used to be larger than the Big Island, its now the most northern atoll on Earth and the largest too. aroha from Owhyhee Island

If you are visiting, why think about driving? Park and walk down and admire the view, something you cannot do if you are driving down . Yes, its not easy, but its certainly doable. When you get to the bottom, turn right toward the beach. The people who live in the valley do not appreciate your wandering around on their property.

Well done. Most enjoyable. So relaxing visually and hearingly (just made up that word - hearingly) Thank you for giving me Oahu. I miss Oahu. I miss all Hawaii but especially Oahu. I have fond memories with friends and family on Oahu. Your chosen music is good. I hope you will create a video of the hustle and bustle of Oahu too. I always enjoy being around the people on Oahu and seeing Hawaii life - both residents and tourists.

the Gateway Hotel used to be next door to the Nike Store

Looks like the old Gateway has been totally revamped which is great. Its located well to everything and we have good memories from this place. Looks worth a visit once again.
