I purchased my ESV Study Bible in 2009 and neglected it for many years. Recently I rediscovered it and have been very blessed by it. (It’s the 2007 text version).

Thank you for this video. I recently retired and prior to doing such, had always complained that i felt my morning devotion was rushed and having not to rush was one of the things i was looking forward to upon retirement. Once retired, I purchased the leather, large print version of the ESV study Bible and it is quite hefty. I used it daily for my morning devotional and have found it to be exactly what I needed. Because of its heft and size, I am moving very slowly with it, but hands down, this is one of the best parts of my new retirement.

I believe the problem with our world is that we are too arrogant, and believe that God only created us, and not all the stars, planets, and what might be alive throughout the universe. We do not understand His creation, and should only live as humble creations.

You’re developing your theology based on your own assumptions and conclusions about God’s inherent qualities instead of what his word says. And it causes you to land on terrible and false theology.

Who was it that was guilty? Kane? Or his brother? If you truly put yourself before your god, than perhaps it is as much their reaction as it is your ignorance. Did Jesus Christ not set the example? To forgive, and love thy neighbor? That statement applies to your neighbor as much as it does to you. He who is without sin may cast the first stone. The reality of my atheism has to do with the inability of Christians to follow the examples set by Christ, in my hatred for the ignorant, I was baptized, hypothetically, in atheism. By your logic, my sins are not my own, and my sins are many, wrath beyond my peers, lust, and perhaps more. I've more in common with a demon than any of you, and that broadly became apparent when folks like you, opened their mouth, to spout dribble. If you're to go to heaven, then I'll go to hell for heaven's sake, not that I believe in either at this point.
