Thanks for sharing this. This helps put it more in perspective. I knew it was bad but the destruction is incredible. And, all the mud and mats of floating marsh grass. I wonder how bad the marsh was damaged. Heading to the marsh (but not to Lafitte) in a few weeks and will see first hand.

Is there anyway you could give more info with aerial footage of the property that is on the right side of screen at time stamp 12:20? It is the large patch of mud between the pamper grass and wooded area, catacorner across the street from the old red brick post office. There is a house on that property, closer to the Pen. Could you fly over to show us the condition of the front & back (especially) of the house?

What kind of drone are you using? Also, was that your drone flying over the seafood fest while the Gin Blossoms were playing?
