The Making of Falling Into Autumn | Free Song Now Available

A song inspired by free loops released many, many moons ago by Cymatics. I've had these loops kicking around my hard drives for years, and it turns out that Cymatics is still alive and kicking online (cymatics.fm)! But before I check out what new goodies they have to offer, I've built a tune with these old ones. Also features sounds from MuLab, Analog Lab V, Vital and Monster Drums sandwiched i...

This tune was inspired by a sample from Looperman creator @wesleywebbers. It had a lot of upfront power and quickly inspired a new bass line and melodies. Also features some MuLab synths, Monster Drums, Analog Lab V, Surrealistic MG-1 Plus, Odin 2 and Sonatina Choir sandwiched in. This video is assembled from highlights of a live stream showing the creation of the song "AdrenaLynn", now availab...

For this creation, I revisited an old favorite muse of mine, Looperman.com, a collection of user-submitted loops. Grabbed a few in the key of G and sandwiched in some Monster Drums, Surge XT, MuLab synths and a sample from another old favorite, FreeSound.org. This video is assembled from highlights of a live stream showing the creation of the song "Telecommunication Breakdown", now available fo...

This upbeat, dancy version of my home's national anthem was composed during TranSan Labs, live streamed on June 30, 2024. So you can ignore the "if you think of a name for this song" message that appears on screen... clearly, this song already has a name. ;) TranSan Labs streams live, Sundays on Twitch.tv/TransistorSandwich. Most songs created on this stream are available to listen to and downl...

Knight Rider Theme - Transanitized
Переглядів 3852 роки тому
When Knight Rider debut, I was an impressionable 12-year-old nerding out on sci-fi tech and synth music, so this show had a huge impact on me. This is my attempt at recreating the classic theme song from that show, relying solely on memory.
Lost in Space (1998 Movie Theme) - Transanitized
Переглядів 653 роки тому
I wasn't even familiar with "Lost in Space" the TV series when the movie came out in 1998. So I had no expectations when I snatched it off the New Releases rental wall at the local video store. And it was definitely up my alley. The reboot of John Williams' original theme song had me hooked! I decided to see how much of it stuck with me over the years, so I built this tribute in a single sessio...
Axel-F (Beverly Hills Cop) - Transanitized
Переглядів 493 роки тому
Although I wasn't allowed to see Beverly Hills Cop when it first came out, even at age 14 there was no escaping the hit song the exploded from the movie. I wanted to see how close I could get to reproducing this classic synth tune from memory, in a single session, without referencing the original track. Composed using mostly a Yamaha YPT-320 keyboard, with some assistance from the VK-1 Viking S...

Thank you so much. My grandma had one of these and I wanted to know the history and how to play it. This is a blessing
Doctor there’s a weeping Forrest Amy don’t blink
Now, Amy this is really important: the angel is full of forests.
se podria poner un tranaspositor a este teclado???
how do you connect the elka to your DAW. mic or cable connection
It's a cable connection coming from the Ext. Amp Stereo Out jack, and noisy as all heck. lol It would be cool to mic it up, as the speakers still sound pretty decent, but it's an apartment dwelling. ;)
hola yo tengo un ELKA e19,Y DE LA TOMA SALIDA ESTEREO ,le saqué dos tomas para Jack de 6,3, y me fue bien..
every SRX dance presets video did a comical beats demo i just wanted to see if Roland put any JP 8000 leads in it
Greetings From Super Extremes- Sri Lanka 💚 💛 ❤ 💙 💜 Thusitha Thanthirige
Though they may sound thin and cheesy, all these tones sound like they would work amazingly well in a mix with very little eq needed.
Have one of those in the studio, but some keys are not triggering anymore. Didn't have it open but I assume its just some contact issue. Thanks for the demo.
I love how you did not add chorus and reverb to the sounds, so we can hear the dry sounds of this synth. Ok right at the end you added some effects, but earlier you showed us the raw synth ty.
Great Instrument the Voicing is awesome. I have most of the boards for the E-19 let me know if you need anything
I have one of them but some keys are not triggering anymore or need longer pressing or harder holding. Do you have an idea, how to fix them? Is it just a electrical contact issue, or will i have to solder around?
@@richardemling1590you may just need to clean the contacts, usually open boards, with open contacts under the keyboard, it may swing open / up, so you can clean).. Worst case is the metal has worn (unlikely, as the contracts are made not to wear fast)..
Doctor Who Series 5 FULL Outtakes, anyone?
You got it! :)
this is beautiful, thank you.
Groovy
The Lately Bass preset was THE bass sound for so many hits like What is love, Saturday night
This week I dug out a bunch of Bontempi Minstrel Alpha floppies for my old Emu Esi32 sampler. In the mid-90s I borrowed my friend's Bontempi keyboard and sampled a bunch of the sounds and percussion. Last week I bought a Gotek USB floppy emulator for the Esi32 so I'll need to convert the files. I was actually amazed that the floppies still worked tbh. I found if you sample some of these old Home Keyboards and use the ASDR and built-in effects, portamento, modulation, velocity and filters etc it can sound really brilliant!
Agreed! Some of these old beauties can be a surprising treasure trove of source sample material!
if you use 1.05/1.1 playback speed, you can really feel the energy going for this theme.
Ayyy good to hear from you lol Have you done anything since the twitch hack
Hiya! Yep, actually still streaming on Twitch. Changed my password and stream key, and already had multifactor authentication. Data leaks are sadly a fact of online life.
Damn 90s! Love it! ❤️
Thanks for this review. It has helped me to decide to buy one of these.
Great use of the presets 👍👍. I am a fan of these old Yamaha modules. I try not to judge the sounds based on their name - I mean, those pianos don't sound anything like a piano - and yet they sound cool to me. Keep up the good work! Cheers ☺
Great organ! Thanks for the demo!
I made similar like this with an Amstrad Computerphonic CHX100. GREAT! I like it :D
I don't understand the purpose of this vst, it's aweful.
It is supposed to replicate 90s house sounds
You can only play the GrandPa-ino if you are a really old guy. LOL! 😁😁😁
sup
This plugins sounds horrible without the Roland XV engine! Poor soundquality and effects!! Roland XV5080 is one of the best modules ever, with excellent 3*EFX and more, the soundquality is much more better than this bad software emulation sounds. For surroundproducions, you can make very easy with the XV a special routing from the EFXs to the 8 channel analog outputs or ADAT!! With this way you can make awesome and dynamical triggered realtime surroundpatches that sounds awesome!!! This is a extra "secret" feature from the old XV5080, and brings the known Roland Sounds to a amazing surround experience! If you want to use SRX and JV Boards in best soundquality, then only with XV5080 and JV2080 or Fantom XR.
Some of th loops aren't right, but only than that, uts amazing what you get
I have one of these but it only plays a few notes quietly while holding down one chord continuously, any idea how to fix it lol
Actually, we just tried mine again after not using it for quite some time, and the lower keys didn't sound initially. Turned out the motion effects and vibrato effects rocker switches were the culprit in my case. A little wobble and sound returned. Needs some Deoxit, perhaps.
please more videos like this!
Nice video and great end song! I have the TX as well because it's very close to the EOS B200 I owned as my very first synth (the TX is only missing some effects). As it was my only sound source and I recorded straight to stereo tape, the multi-mode got used extensively, trying to make the most of the eight-voice polyphony (1 bass drum, 1 snare, 1 synth bass, 3 for chord pads, 1 for leads, 1 for additional synth part). Still have some of the recordings :)
I'd not heard of the B200 before... just checked it out and what a cool piece of gear! Must've been fun coaxing performances out of it. I'd love to hear some of those recordings.
@@transistorsandwich :-D Not sure those songs stood the test of time, but I'll have a look in my archives!
Actually, I think "grooving it" might be an old verb, that's fallen out of popular usage. Peter Cook and Dudley Moore sang "Momma's got a brand new bag. She's gonna groove it the whole night long". So, during that session, or possibly performance, I guess she could have been said to have been "grooving it" (the whole night long). Does anyone know how to contact Susie Dent? I feel sure she'd know...
Nice. When my Korg Monotron grows up, it wants to be an MS-10.
Thank you for this video very helpful buying one today.
Morrisman Smith Fantastic! You’re gonna love it! 😊
Thanks watching your video now. What music software are you using to track tune you are making in the end? sounds nice
@@morrisman64 That's simply GarageBand on the iPad Pro. Absolutely wonderful piece of software that I really must get back to. Lately, I've been using MuLab (Windows, MacOS) by MuTools and loving it as well.
OK Thanks for the info
Love 💗 the nail varnish honey 🍯
Thanks! Growing up, I was always jealous that only the girls got to wear nice things. 😉
Frilly Pink Panties as well?
😂 Nah, that’d be going too far for me, I think. I’ll stick with the nail polish for now.
You don't know what your missing...
Hello, could you tell me how you’re running the Yamaha into your iPad? I am planning on getting one soon and would like to run it with midi and GarageBand also
Absolutely! The iPad is a second-gen iPad Pro, so it's just done through a Lightning-to-USB adapter, or what's referred to on the Apple Store as a "Camera Adapter". The current iPad Pro models use USB-C, so you would need a USB-C to USB adapter. Most MIDI controllers and USB-to-MIDI adapters work just fine out of the box (I'm using a USB-to-MIDI adapter to connect to the TX).
Transistor Sandwich sounds easy enough. Thanks!
great video :)
Dig the finger nail polish,... but I don't think that's your color :-( I'm thinking something DaRkERrrrrr!!! or even midnight blue!!!
Thanks, yes, I'll try that! I like to change up the colours often. :)
You're fun!
deathgrips meet portishead 4:10
The grand piano is really a bad one but more a harpi. BTW this module must be used in a right way.
The tx81z is actually one of my favorite bits of gear ever. I love that chunky 4 op FM sound.
Why are this old fat man's fingernails painted?
LOL... well I don't think nail polish has a weight or age restriction, but a good question all the same. I started it as a spot-of-colour approach to draw the eye to the playing.
So talented & happy!
Thank you! ❤️
For a cheap and cheerful little rack unit it can make some rather useful and usable sounds (love anything 80's sounding anyway, and have an original Roland D50 which should compliment it rather well). Just this week managed to get hold of one of these and look forward to integrating it into my humble set up. Nice video by the way :)
We were just talking about the D50 yesterday! Absolutely one of my dream synths. 😊 Glad you enjoyed the video!
