@@frogboyofficial9027 checked out a little Frogboy too, I dig Tough Guy...cool stuff. I also looked Frogboy up on discogs, didn't see Tough Guy on the album or cassette they had listed. Was it ever released as a studio song, or is the live version the only thing available? Good stuff regardless.

@@jaredperkins8066 'Tough Guy' was never released as an original Frogboy studio recording. I still think it should be, though. The whole precept for the song happened because a Connecticut Junior Police Officer thought that Brett, our singer, was blowing kisses at his girlfriend at 'Goodnight Hartford' which was a cheesy CT live-music club. Dale (our bassist) chose to memorialize that jerk-face's moment with a Clarinet-focus. We all thought the caricature of the moment was hilarious (and musically solid). Thanks for picking up on it, too!!

@@frogboyofficial9027 so I just checked and I have the other two VHS’s but not this one!! Also, are y’all still in touch with Randy Collins? He used to live on my street in Hartford and I recall the bassist for Frog Boy was over all the time in the late 80’s early 90’s. 🙂

Totally. Right?? Frogboy, as a band, was routinely SERIOUS about not being serious. Arguments would occasionally ensue at practice about us not allowing ourselves (and the audience) enough fun. Seems like we were light-hearted enough here, though...FUNNY!! :-)

Would have been more 80's Vai-brant if I had used the yellow Ibanez. I'll always remember you noticing that I had to fight the Seuss guitar more in that very minute. Pulled it off, though. PHEW!!

Luckily, we all still have our fingers & toes (to my knowledge). At the start of 2020, Brett was masterminding a spectacle. He probably still is!
