in the video I merely show how I remove the bracket that attaches to the motor mount to the body in order to get the timing cover off and obtain access to the timing chain and all of its components. if you are doing the timing chain it is recommended to have a stud puller kit which will gently remove the stud that goes in the bottom of the bracket and restricts access

    I appreciate the informative video very much! I was losing my mind looking for the dipstick. Also though, what the heck was 5:40 Hyundai thinking? This is not a simple fluid check... it takes much longer than checking my Chevy, my Toyota or my Nissan.

    OK so there is ACTUALLY TWO (2) Fill plugs that I see people using! One is under the Air Box (after removal) and this plastic plug is actually the "VENT" for the transmission CORRECT? The factory "FILL HOLE" is towards the rear and a metal 24MM plug like the 24MM metal drain plug -- CORRECT? Does the Manufacturer (or dealer) use the VENT PLUG or the METAL FILL PLUG Location to add fluid? That is my question!

    I have a question? Should I keep it open down there while I'm putting oil? Or I close it and it self will inject any over oil?

    I have to replace this and the coils. Do you remember if removing that piece also gave access to the three coils on the back? Hoping I can remove just this to fix my abs and coils instead of taking off the intake as well. lol.

    Did you already remove the drain plug and drain the pan, prior to adding that gallon? When you said 3 qts came out, was that from that drain plug that needs to drip when full, and prior to adding that new fluid?

    • @irisbaez1972
      @irisbaez1972 Рік тому

      Drain, fill, start then see if drain check level plug drain, if not add more until drain. the drain must be small and consistent, then close valve plug and that is.

    so turning the car on with no fliud in the transmission doesn't hurt it? I guess transmission is only affected whenyou are shifting the gear level so makes sense.

    This car and transmission is no for 2010, but 2011 and up. Transmission filter in 2011 and up is in the middle of the fucking stupid transmission and you need to dissambling the whole to replace it. 2010 is a different story, completely different.
