I have 94 coupe automatic with 136k and I swapped trans into it when I first got it with 124k on it and I swapped the valve cover gaskets on it new spark plugs and transmission oil change it’s ran like dream only thing it does is that the ABS light is on and also D4 will start blinking and eventually the check engine light turns on but the car feels amazing it blows my mind that it’s a 30 year old car and feels so good truly appreciate the legend content brother ✊🏽🔥💯

I originally found this car sale for $5,000 down south from the OG owner. Found the new owner selling it on FB then and Cars and Bids. Lots of little issues and engine work. That’s a lot of money for these cars. The good old days I bought my red one from Honda in Kalamazoo Michigan from the original owner for $6,500 with 91,000 miles and all mint no work needed literally zero issues. Made me fall in love with Hondas. Key aspect was one 80+ year old lady owned… no tinkering no nonsense.

5:02 There was a recall on the gas cap section.. My '87 DX needed a patch to be welded over the rusted bits. As you say, this area, in pristine condition, IS rare. Thanks, Eric, for showing us this gem of car.

My '98 Civic coupe had the same exhaust hole and messed up sunroof shade. I reupholstered it along with the headliner before it sold. Overall, very nice Si you have. These have common issues with dist gasket leak and vtec gasket leaks, an age thing I think.

Notes: - Step 8: those are 8mm bolt heads for the ignition coils - Step 18: the edit was a bit fast, but the vacuum lines to disconnect for the High and Low Diaphragms on the back of the manifold are 8 & 2; also disconnect line 7 going behind the throttle body to the Air Boost Valve
