I finally tried one out today, and to my disappointment, it did very poorly because the unit itself was poorly maintained, and the air was pretty weak from the filter being clogged

Yeah it’s interesting that some of these older ones live on and sound healthier than newer units. As I said before, I’ve seen 2 older units like this (also made in December 2016) at The Royal Oak Pub.

That’s a lot of unisex cubicles.

An employee told me this McDonald’s is going to be refurbished next year, which probably explains why the air fury hasn’t been replaced.

You should film the M&S Merry Hill dryers as they have some original slims.

There's a similar restaurant (Ely Turkish) in Ely with a similar dryer. That has a Dryflow Turboforce Junior though I'm still unsure if the OEM for that one.

I came here after the refurb and there was a pair of Airforces, so these have been installed since then. Yet another PHSWH that's failed after a couple of years, although I wouldn't count on these lasting much longer

Reminds me of that one time I thought one of the Goodwinds at my closest Costco had already kicked the bucket despite being only 2 years old. It took a good 3-4 seconds for the dryer to actually activate after I inserted my hands in it(it works just fine now, btw)

I'm genuinely surprised on how I've not found a KFC AIKE. The one at Edge Lane recently got refurbed due to a Kitchen fire so I'm hoping they have the AIKEs. Before the fire, they used to have Machflows but I'm not sure if they do now.

Shame this replaced a Machflow I found one today actually & I found a July 2024 AIKE AK-2805

The accessible loo was left intact, which actually makes sense for once given the tiling only differs slightly from the modern design, however they should've replaced the tap and that broken door lock. The dryer replacement was unnecessary too

Purely because you don’t see it very often at all. 3:42 Anda Series 5000 (Avon). 5:32 Goodwind Pebble 8:13 Anda Series 5000 STS (APL) found a few of these now 2 at a Farm shop in Harrogate and one at a Pub in Yarm 8:53 Zenith branded AirDri WAD 5.

Actually I filmed the old dryer here so it’s interesting that it got replaced. It was still there when I came in October 2022

Hopefully you’ll film more in Birmingham in the future, I probably will when I’m older but I filmed a fair few stuff there.
