Hi can you please assist I had builders who did my roof and then had a company come out fibre glass it all . The job was good really good but the roof has no fall so the water doesn’t go anywhere it’s like a pool on the roof can you advise what I can do to rectify it

We have a stone built house with brick arcs over the windows. The arcs have split at brick mortar joint, i think it's due to settlement. Doubt we can insert helix bars as the mortar lines will be uneven. Would you recommend replacing the bricks with a concrete lintel or inserting a lintel above the bricks? Might need 2 lintels back to back because the walls are very thick with rubble infill. Appreciate your advice 😊

Stop on Your probably the only person I've seen doing felting right Little tip for you... double up on your 2,1.... so your drip edge sits half way in the gutter.

Hi what sander did you use to remove top coat? Don't you have to remove all the top coat as it is wax based and other coats will not adhere to it. I only ask as I need to remove my top coat down to the GRP matting as the installer didn't paddle roll. Therefore, cure it have recommended sanding top coat back and adding another proper laminated 450 matt and new top coat.

Weather struck pointing may look good but in reality is terrible for the building !! Especially in OPC !! The pointing should be a original lime mix and let the building breathe and allow movement. A simple bang off pointing or maybe a penny roll finish would be better and last far longer.But I agree with you , painting a building is just giving them bricks a death wish lol

Sorry to bother but I have a balcony on top of my master bedroom. There is a door to that balcony and ir always leaks down into the bedroom what kind of flashing can I use I’m going to replace the complete roof. Thanks

My elderly mother had a "friend" do her garage. He did the woodwork and got someone else to fibreglass it. It doesn't look too bad but they assumed the gutter would be on the wrong side and now there is a massive pool. Can that be remedied by cutting off the raised edge and refinishing?. Also it has bits sticking up all over just top-coated over

At my house the key brick has fallen out and on another arch the right hand side is dropping,how can I fix these issues?

i decided to renew my flat roof with fiberglass and i watched a fair few videos and researched it , being a electrician i am fully aware of the need to do things in a certain manner and to follow instructions there are parts you MUST buy for a fiberglass roof other then the basic matting and resins its shocking to see someone did a job like this
