It seems like nit-picking to me.....I`m no great fan of Aer Lingus, but I`d have stepped off that flight happy.

Just a sidebar comment. You do seem to have missed a slightly funny journalistic point; to get from Bodø to Trondheim by train you have to go though Hell... Yes, I know, trite and cheap, but there is a station called Hell just after the Værnes(Trondheim Airport) station. People still go to Hell to photograph themselves with the sign that says “HELL GODS-EXPEDITION” (archaic spelling). The meaning of the phrase means “Hell Freight Office” in Norwegian...

You flew short haul on a much older plane, some wear and tear is to be expected. And then you got a sandwich you didn't like but there's no quantifiable link between that and your upset stomach. Was the plane dirty, was the flight subject to excessive delays or were any of the staff rude or unpleasant to you? No, it doesn't seem that way. Your title gives the impression there was a problem with Aer Lingus, an airline with a usually good reputation and reviews. Simply put, your review is misleading and clickbait-y. With that sort of approach, I'm sure you'll be in the echelons of UA-cam flight reviewers with Wingin' It with Paul Lucas, DennisBunnik Travels, The Points Guy UK and others in no time.

Sir just watched your video as I subscribe to travel vlogs etc but will not be visiting you again Firstly I am proud Irishman who will always put Aer Lingus first over Ryanair. Secondly yes the fleet is old but they are being replaced as with the A321 LR and hopefully now that they under IAG modern aircraft will be added Thirdly the food was nit the cause of your belly ache as Im sure you are aware that a few hours are needed before food poisoning kicks in. 4/10 is harsh considering the rate seemed not to be on the flight itself which seemed routine enough but more on your dicky stomach Good luck with your channel

I don't really see why you had such a bad opinion of Aer Lingus. The flight seemed great, OK a bit of damage which would have been caused by a previous passenger - and I'm sure if you'd spoken to the crew they would have dealt with it and moved you. Otherwise, you had a belly ache which is unlikely to be caused by the food on board because it happened almost immediately after you ate it ... food poising takes a bit longer than that! So, I'm not really sure what Aer Lingus did wrong to be fair ... sorry!

Aer Lingus is no longer considered the National Airline as it is now owned by some group , not Irish, in which British Airways is included. The Irish Government divested itself of its large shareholding some years ago.

Aer Lingus actually have 5 A321neos with EI-LRE only delivered a few weeks ago
