The King’s Poet are a 5-piece alt/indie/rock band from Geelong, Victoria. Through a whirlwind of evolution in just a few brief years, TKP has developed and refined a dynamic set of hook-driven tunes; they are as emotive, powerful, and energetic, as they are stoic, spacious and thoughtful. These songs, with their pulsing rhythm section and intertwined guitars, create a luscious sonic stage for the catchiest of vocal melodies. Delivering heartfelt lyrics drenched in a boldly intimate vulnerability, makes them abundantly personal, yet so universally relatable. TKP have entered 2024 with a wealth of gigs under the belt and a taste for big things on the horizon, including multiple new releases, and a slew of great shows in the Geelong and Surf Coast region and beyond.
