Yamaha WR426R stalled on a hill with a Rekluse EXP
I managed to stall it on a hill... The good news is that the remote hot-start is working and it started first kick... Previously a rare occurrence...

Rock Candy Staging Area. Pain and/or fatigue can be a bit distracting. The first crash resulted in major back/kidney pain and a rather large bruise in my abdomen. The other falls were simply a lack of concentration.

I had to rebuild my leaky petcock so, I decide to make a short video on the process. As you can tell, it was a spontaneous effort, with no script...

Metcalf Motorcycle Park: Grand Prix Track Virtual Tour
Переглядів 25810 років тому
One of four tracks at Metcalf Motorcycle Park, the GP track doesn't really have any jumps, but it has the most elevation changes of the four tracks. With a couple significant uphills and downhills, it can be quite fun. This track can be found just off of Trail 1.
Metcalf Motorcycle Park: TT Track Virtual Tour

One of four tracks at Metcalf Motorcycle Park, the TT track has two small jumps, one of which is a small table top. This track can be found just off of Trail 2. There is also access from Trail 3.

Testing out crossbar mounted GoPro sync'd with GPS data from a Garmin eTrex 20, using Dashware. Not real happy with the vibration on the crossbar, though I was running knobbie tires which shook the hell out of me too!

I Fight Dragons - Packy Lundholm Guitar Solo
Should do one going down bear creek
Classic comuter.bike
Helped me out a lot. I can do mechanical things but like to have a good reference or quick tutorial for the first time I do something. This made the process easy. Thanks!
ION is better
That is a cool bike man! What is the average miles per gallon doing Highway 17?
40 mpg
Nice! I have a '93 with 69k brought it brand new they are stout machines going 2 up with wife for a couple of days bit more than the brakes can handle but ..what fun!
Nice! I just bought a 1999 750 I love it. You have the same idea to mount your farming etrex 20 gps on the bar as I did. It's great for road trips and a bonus because I already had it laying around
I just brought a go pro for 150 when I could have got this for 50
I appreciate this video. I'm sure it'll help me. I'm doing this within minutes. I looked like you just forced the petcock lever out? I'm assuming the thin O ring is around the lever? But when you put the thin O ring back, it looked like you just layed it in there, around the thicker round rubber gasket? I guess I'll see when I get there. I'm wondering how the tension thin ring behind the lever will go. I don't want to be reversed, if that's possible I was hoping to pull those plastic tubes out for a cleaning, but not sure if they pull out, or screw out. They'll be staying where they are. Mine are a little different. Ugly looking. thanks for the video.
i have both and they both are great cameras
Don't ever buy a product based on one of these videos. First, how do you know it's not manipulated during edit. Quality manipulation: Ion shoots at 60fps 720p. GoPro shoots at 60fps 1080p. At max settings the GoPro image quality smokes the Ion. Color balance manipulation: Just alter your contrast and saturation settings to produce the same levels. The ion has richer contrast and saturation DEFAULT SETTINGS in daylight but results in loss of detail in low light. GoPro can produce same color balance at greater resolution and less vibratory distortion. Plus you have a display. Is it worth the price difference? Yes!
Fancy Animal Nah I still go with the ion.I have one.
Nice job, thanks.
Ion Air Pro 2 is better but the colors are a bit over saturated.
And the winer is iON Air Pro 2 WiFI.tomorow i will buy one.
I'm a proud owner of the iON Air Pro 3... It's shoots fantastic video. I sure like being able to change the cam's settings from my Tablet and or Android Phone. The cam is awesome, the feller behind the cam....... Well.............. needs better video shooting skills LOL Guess one day I'll get it down right... Thanks for sharing the video Ev Mon, it's a awesome comparison between the two.
Ion Pro 2 is also much more stable, with its auto stabilisation, look at the side by side shots rather than the up/down, you see the GoPro is far less stable. this also improves image quality, as faster changing pixels tend to compress, lowering image quality. however it does seem a bit more prone to jittery bumps, where stabilisation almost works against it. Advantage of the GoPro's visuals is that it works well at capturing shadows, however you can adjust the settings on the ION.
Thats the way an action camera comparison is done!
Wow, the ION looks awesome. GREAT Review.
The EKEN H9 WiFi Sport Action Camera is way sharper than the GoPRo, I would like to see a test between the iON Air Pro 3 and the EKEN H9 WiFi Sport Action Camera.
If it weren't for the sky, I would have assumed the GoPro was shot in Black and White. Saving some money and going with the iON after watching this. Thanks for the upload!
I bought the iON after seeing this video. GoPro looks like crap..
+XoXKyleXXX so hows the experience bro? What do you use it for? And if you're on the road, are the car plates readable? Please let me know, I'm considering this camera too, not sure yet
All my friends keep telling me to stay away from ion camera because of horrible picture quality. I find its much better than I originally thought it would be. It's much better than the gopro they are comparing it to.
helped out a lot i am not mechanically inclined I can tack shit a part but have to pay to get it going again
Wow, the color of the ion looks so much better
Great comparison! You just answered my question and with my same intended use!
How do you like your 750. Does it vibrate at high speeds on freeway? I m going to buy one.
+Rohan D'mello Not really. If it really bothered you can always buy cushioned grips that are super soft. I love my nighthawk after 2 years along with my gsxr 750
On occasion, a little buffeting. Not so much that it bothers me. Where it really helps is in the wind protection. I used it for a commuter for 5 or 6 years and it made a huge difference in the comfort.
I just bought one fantastic...the kz..and Ltd..were great also..yamaha...made excellent comuter.bike as well
Have ordered the Ion after watching this, and its quite a bit cheaper!
The Ion is much better in color
TheAviation2009 The only reason the Ion has better color is Ion's choice of White Balance when to the Warmer side while Gopro went to the Cooler side of it. Basically the ION looks better without doing any editing what so ever. I Personally think either is a fantastic option depending on what you're looking for. I love Gopro's mounting system and generally editing a Gopro to look good is quite easy just adjust White Balance to your liking and its done. The ION is more of a set it and forget it pull the vids off upload and done option. So i say to each they're own Gopro or Ion the choice is ultimately up to preference
Thanks for sharing, very helpful without a bunch of commentary.
I always knew the Ion was going to be better. Great video.
Nice video, by the way.
Glad my girlfriend got the Ion for Christmas. She wasn't sure.
thanks for sharing. Really good production
very good thank you !
