How to adjust valves on a Honda HRN216
Переглядів 86710 місяців тому
Today I am adjusting the valves on my Honda HRN216 with a GCV170 engine. Unfortunately, it did end up having bad compression but the valves were successfully re-clearanced. Got it sold and made my money back on it though so I'm not complaining. Hope this helps you with your Honda. Thanks for watching!

Installing home maintenance kit for z515e
Переглядів 4,5 тис.2 роки тому
Hello and welcome to the first video of my channel. Today I am installing the home maintenance kit from John Deere on my z515e zero turn mower. This video includes the instillation of the oil filter and oil, air filter, spark plugs, as well as the fuel filter. Thank you for tuning in and enjoy the video! Name of standard oil filter wrench: John Deere TY26640 Wrench Name of universal oil filter ...
I love that!I never heard of such a challenge, was it somewhere in Maryland?
great video! Love how you can maneuver with the Z5! What would you say about the Z300E´s? Really would love to get one of those! (even though it will be a X100series).^^
I have a Z530M. It’s nice to see you starting your business out on a Z5 series mower.
Good video!
love our 2 cyl. 100 series deere (same series as yours) ours has over 550 hours on it.:)
Didn't have much luck with mine but glad you have with yours haha
@@Micahslawnmaintenance I think we will buy another one (replacement) this fall...I hope it is as good as the current one..:) Did I get your picture of the red equipment right, did you sell your deere machines?
@@jddriver9565 That video should be going up this weekend. I did sell the 100 series at the beginning of the year though
@@Micahslawnmaintenance thank you!:)
Good job! That was a huge yard!🙂
Looks awesome. Keep up the great work
Great job Keep up the good work.
Nice work! I subscribed!
when you got stuck did you raise the deck, it looks low or mabye thats the angle of the ditch and you did raise it
Unfortunately, my deck only lifts to just over 4" at transport height. Also, that ditch just got the mower wedged sideways so everything was digging into the dirt. Was like 20 minutes IRL. Not very fun
Super large yard slot of mowing. Looking really good now. The owner should do some landscaping . Wish you had did the edging
GIVE HIM A BREAK...WHATS WITH ALL THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS...HE IS THE ONE DOING THE WORK NOT ANY OF U...FOR ALL THE POSITIVE COMMENTS...THANX GUYS IT WILL REALY MOTIVATE HIM...FOR SURE...
edging the driveway would have really made the front yard look even better, must string trim around the house more and get up the grass clippings in the backyard. Overall nice job.
Agreed, but our agreement was just for me to mow. Also, cutting edges in on asphalt driveways like that is a pain. Would have been a lot of effort and not looked that much better in the end
Rake any grass up or was just cutting the grass is all you were suppose to do?
I was just cutting the grass. Didn't rake
Did you weed eat ?
Your friend needs to pick up all that scrap and junk, so you can mow the lawn properly.
Great job! im starting my own lawn maintenance business and watching you will help me alot. keep up the good work!
Well done Micah, well done. And spot on trouble shooting when you got stuck. Efficient mowing patterns as well.
Nice job!
I also love mowing lawn with our 100 series deere!:) Are you gonna make some more videos?:)
I just dropped a mowing tall grass video with my z515e. Check it out!
@@Micahslawnmaintenance I´ll watch it, thanks!:) Nice to see a new video.:)
@jddriver9565 Yeah. I try to get videos out but it's a lot with the editing and the videoing itself
@@Micahslawnmaintenance yea its a lot of work thats for sure. iam happy about every video.:)
I just pock screw driver right through filter and turn 😅😅
Also when you drain the oil pull the dipstick out a little bit and the oil will drain better.
Young man you have the intake and exhaust valves reversed! Intake next to carb.
Then I guess it's a good thing that they have the same clearance specs 👍
Great job! How many hours before you did this?
thanks
Change the air filter for sure 😊
You made a video teaching yourself how to use a socket wrench and do an oil change
Real kid has no idea what he’s doing
@@americantok4873 I don't think your mom would agree with that statement
keep the hustle up man
Will do. Thanks for watching!
so inspirational

Proud of you making a big effort to run a business. The wheel is a simple fix as warranty may not cover it. Easy for them to say you had the tire off and didn't tighten up the lugs right. You must learn to do your own fixing and you are lucky that almost any fix can be found on Y.T. nowadays. I'm old and a pretty good mechanic with lots of manuals on my stuff but still watch videos to see what I'm getting into. Please don't judge J.D. by what you have bought as those are bottom line cheap J.D. stuff that is to compete with box stores. You would be much better off buying used from a original residential owner by far. My J.D. 155c 48" is 17 yrs. old now, 740 hrs. and runs as when new after I pulled the tranny to clean filter and put in new Hy-Gard J20C oil. There is several good and bad vids out there and I improved on the good ones to do it right. Older units that had reasonable care are much better than new but you must learn their reviews & weak points to do your own fixing. I just bought a 2007 LA150 , that needs all new steering from original owner that needs some TLC for only $300. I'll pull the tranny as I did on the 155C, power wash everything and put all new steering in to have a nice rig with 54" deck for less than $600 total. I also bought this year a very nice 2012 Z920A commercial unit from original owner I knew for $4,000 that was only used at his farm and he takes great care of his equipment. Expensive, yes but I know the history and it doesn't have $400 modules that can shut it down. Good luck to you and don't give up. From the farm near Battle Creek, Mi.
Impressive! ❤
The video helped me. I thank you.
i subscribed as well, realy like your content, please keep making it.:)
Awesome! Got the Z515e back from the shop a couple days ago so look for some of that footage coming up in the future!
Keep your work up love the John deere you got a new subscriber😁
New subscribers are always welcome. Thank you!
Unless the machines are under warranty I would do the repairs myself if I were you
I would love to but I've had a couple people look at the e100 and they can't figure it out. As for the zero turn, I am at least going to get it diagnosed and then I'll see if I want to fix it myself or have them fix it
If they're really charging you $1200 to change a wheel and some bolts I think you need to find a better shop to deal with. You could order the parts through your local dealer for less than $200,and itd only be about 2 hours labor. Assuming the bolts are designed like car lug bolts, they're just knocked out with a hammer and punch and as you tighten the new ones they pull through the hole giving a tight friction fit
Unfortunately, stuff has gotten expensive and the just buying the wheel by myself is like $700. At that point, I'd rather just spend the extra money to see if there is anything wrong with it and get it done correctly. But yeah, prices are a bit steep
@@Micahslawnmaintenance your tire a 22/9.5/10?
@@ciphercode2298 I already sent it in but I believe so yes
@@ciphercode2298 I saw that but all of the reviews were fake or negative so I don't want to spend $300 on something that won't work
@@Micahslawnmaintenance I can understand that. I've had pretty good luck with stuff like that.
Here from ur comment on Alex’s post lol
Kinda random, but as long as I get a couple views 😂
Is that a 24 hp Briggs and Stratton and if it is, what maintenance kit are you using?
Yup, 24 horse B&S. Here's the link to the kit: 247parts.com/LG268/
@@Micahslawnmaintenance thank you very much
On the air filter that green thing you ripped off is called a pre cleaner it adds life to your paper air filter it can be removed and washed with water intermediate before the air filter has to be replaced again. Don't forget to check your hydraulic fluid mine has 50 hours and I had to refill almost the entire amount.
Ya I was like hey I leave that on
Oh lol. I am used to doing the maintenance on my lawn tractor which doesn't have it. Thanks for letting me know and for watching in the first place!
theres sum wrong if you had to refill the whole thing
Just a bit of advice, the oil filter just needs to be hand tighten. If you start over torquing it you are gonna have real problems. Same thing as an oil filter on a car, just snug it up hand tight 👍
