Thank you for sharing different real flute techniques. 😁 The theremin “flute” is sort of it’s own unique timbre too. But when developing it, I was definitely inspired by calm Native flutes. Thanks for sharing! 🙂

That’s awesome! I’m very excited to have found out that others have been using the theremin for sound healing as well. Theremin therapy can be very helpful! 😁

In my young adult years, I had to juggle many hobbies that didn’t really go anywhere. I did photography, videography, graphic design, and then theremin. I unified and combined all my other interests into my theremin work. Try asking yourself, can some of my current hobbies be useful or add value for the theremin? I haven’t read music notation since I was in middle school band. For me, the theremin “flute” stems from practicing improvisation and a good ear. I normally feel much more comfortable improvising than I do with written music. I have a hard time with motivation. Sometimes my brain doesn’t get the mental reward that most people get when doing a task. And it can be difficult. Right now I’m going through that a lot more. I find theremin videos that help me keep on track and motivated! Hope this helps!

Great point and I think that differentiates the theremin “flute” technique from a real flute. The technique is never intended to 100% replicate an actual flute. It allows the theremin “flute” technique to have it’s own characteristics. I took some inspiration from flute music I love and made my own theremin twist! Always an honor to read what you have to say Peter! Thank you for your insight! I will keep innovating this style. 😁

I think I used a Canon T5i with the stock lens and the basic 50mm lens!

@@ThereminFlute I love this music, and you know I work in production, recording and 'promotion', I think I said that before. Do you see the 'promote' button under your video? It may just be a feature on music channels. If it is there, how about we give you a wider audience? What I do, I hit the promote button, run a $10 ad for 7 days. 2 kinds of ads here; "Audience Growth" and "Video Views", I run $10 ads for each, with every new video on our channel. Pay to play, but it's the only way. Your therimin can bring in 3k views a week, and maybe 1,000 subs a week. Just don't break the bank; save for it. Maybe delete this comment, that therimin is going to be popular.
