Fun project
You're a man of vision Frank! 😎
🙂
😎
Looks like a fairly tight fit but I have full confidence in your abilities.
Hey Frank Looking forward to more videos on this car. Take care 😊 Edit: Good music🙂
@@Tim-57 there will be more. Im thinking 50 or so. It needs a lot of attention.
Man That Rotor Is Paper Thin!!! Stopped Using All Hand Cleaner About 5 Or 6 Years Ago!!! Messed Up My Hands!!! Me I'd Be Cutting It All Out!!! Mustang 2 Front End And All The Issues Are Solved!!! Keep Rocking It Out Brother!!!
@@rockerpat1085 they arent as easy to find now, so a guy is forced to order everything new.
The pellet stove always acts up in the dead of winter.... Usually at 3:00 am, that's when mine would!😨
That Makes Sense!!! I Predict That It Never Acts Up In The Dead Of Summer!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@rockerpat1085 I would have to tear apart my stove every ton/ ton and a half to give it a thorough cleaning. So as not to bother my wife and so she wouldn't see all the dust I would do it at 3:00 am.
I hate this setup Many yank it and go Mustang 2
@@gmc.joesousa4360 yup, but spending more than the price of the car doesent make sense. By the time we found all the pieces,$3,000 isnt far off with exchange, shipping and duty. Not happening.
Nice project Frank!
@@Hanlonsgarage its going to be a fun one i think. As long as donor motor runs.
That's one of the best looking Mustangs ever built - tough as nails 👍😊
@@LakesideAutobody im not a ford guy, but this is one i like too. That’s why i took this one on. “Challenge Accepted”
are you going efi or carb?
@@jesseochoa4807 keeping efi, using as much as possible from donor car. Interior too.
@franksgarage8551 I'm looking forward to seeing it run. Does the donor have pats... you running the ignition switch and all the electronics from the donor?
Somehow I always hate working on fords and never worked on older mustangs. Might have to help my neighbor with his 69 next few years when he starts. But just a idea, dont know how it works but what about changing the front to modern coil over? May beable to get more clearance that you can cut out of the shock towers or maybe able to eliminate them. Just a thought
@@nummnuts22 its pricey. Going to mustang 2 front is the better way to go, but really all we need is a rack and pinion.
@franksgarage8551 I was just thinking a way to clearance the side more but the mustang 2 front would be good
In Fahrenheit it's - 10 That's Too Cold , but sounds warmer than -24 LOL
One thing I did notice did you have the carburettor hole covered with the cran hitch? good project, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones, Wishing you a Healthy and Prosperous New Year
You can tell how cold it is by how crunchy the snow is. LOL
With a 4.6L in an early Mustang it almost looks like a 427 Cammer or a Boss 429!😆
@@glennnickerson8438 yup, its snug!
It's Around Freezing Right Now In Houston!!! Crap Happens Every Year About This Time!!!🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶 I Run My Truck For At Least 30 Minutes Before I Go Anywhere In This Icelandic Area!!! Screw What Dave Says!!! Although I Think He Was Talking About Diesel Pickups!!! Rock On Brother!!!
Yes My Left Eye!!! Keep Rocking!!!
Lot of real estate to get into a 69
Looking forward to this project! Should be fun !
Nice repair Frank - have good year my friend 😊
@@LakesideAutobody thanks! Same to you!
HAPPY NEW YEARS Frank its cool Cory hahhaha
Agree life time warranty.
@@pennyshotrodscustoms Happy New Year to you and the rest of the Penny misfits!👍
If you spread the grease around and rub it into your shoes they should be water resistant! Happy New Year! To you and the Franks Garage family.
You need to talk into your speaker a little louder can barely hear you
@@raydiaz8666 need a microphone sponsor. Lol. Im looking into a mic.
I stopped using moog years ago. 3 tie rods, 2 hanger bearings in one year on 1 truck was enough for me. 5 years ago father-in-law took his truck to a shop and he went through 3 wheel bearings in 2 years, 4 tie rod ends in 1 year and 2 ball joints in a year. Shortly after that I found out they switched to Nylon/Teflon from oil lite bronze when moog got bought out. Shame new companies destroy old names and good reputations to sell garbage
@@nummnuts22 3 ball joints failed safety after about 6 months. That did it for me.
Here in Australia, those nurathane bushes split within a year, even extra warranty calls it normal wear and tear 😂😅 the rubber one's lasted at least 20 year's, great job, should rid better now, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
Don't make this your winter project Frank! Too many cool cars you got to work on!😆
I'm with you, I hate levelling kits. I just don't get those. Let's make the front of the truck higher than the back 🤯
Bugga nothing worse than getting a job on the hoist and wrong part's can't get it off and can't get the part, great job, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
Remember a time when there was only a few parts? Now there's like 10
@@meh-canics9628 yup. I went online to my parts supplier, too many choices for one truck. I believe in a zero duplication inventory
Might wanna cover your ears? If it was me Frank it would be profanity and not a air hammer! 😆
Healthy, Happy New Year.
@@Tim-57 thanks! Same to you!
Bigger Hammer !!!! LOL
Hope you had a Merry Christmas, hope you have a great new years
@@nummnuts22 was a good christms, hope your was good too!
I used Toyota key blanks that are shorter
VEVOR makes some reasonable tools - sort of like Harbor Freight quality - not sure if you have those stores. Any way, thanks for sharing - Merry Christmas 🎄🎄🎄
@@LakesideAutobody found it on amazon, liked the price . Im happy with my decision. We have Princess Auto up here, great store.
My 79 does the same, I’m going to,try your fix and let you know results.
Just load up enough pellets and food Frank and lock yourself in the garage... Spring is less 15 weeks away!😆
@@glennnickerson8438 15 weeks? Is that all? Thats roughly 45 bags of pellets. Maybe 60. And thats pretty much what i do anyway.
@franksgarage8551 Feels better doesn't it? Throw in a couple visits to The Penny boys and it will go quicker!😆
I only have two bag air jacks, but they don't leak down I can leave them overnight, (with a jack stand but it was not on the stand) but my buttons failed ,but yours has taps ,im thinking I might change them to taps, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
It's always good getting new toy's 😂 thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones, Happy festive season
I lost a brand new Letherman in a cement pour. It's still in the foundation.
Cool
Be a great project, certainly keep you busy, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
My yard is getting as white as your's Frank... Knock it off and stop sending that Canadian weather westward!😆
Power wagon revival ! ?
@@pstreetgarage7304 yes, cab is going on a 2000 cummins chassis.
Lots of rust to keep you busy on that one frank!
In my Army days we used a Dodge with a full mechanics set Torches Welder Gen set We were mobile service fixing stuff on the side of the road.
😮man . Frank I guess you are used to that kind of weather .
