My buddy/co-worker brought in his portable radio so we could listen to this game in the grocery back room. We were both stockers and it was so slow that evening. As we were playing a pick-up basketball game back there, we caught the end shot and when Rip came off his patented curl and got the ball, we looked at each other and said, "Ball Game". As Hamilton sank the shot, we were both screaming. Fun times!

Literally the greatest shot in basketball history. Argue with your mama, not me. I remember watching this live and losing ALL my senses because DAMN.

Hurts my heart to this day that Larry Brown didn't rotate Carlos Delfino in the lineup for a chance to win the 2005 championship! He was a better player than Manu Ginoboli!

I was at this game, and Game 5 against the Lakers the following year. I can say, in good conscience, this game was exponentially louder. When Prince hit both the equalizer to force OT and the 3 in OT, that was the loudest I have ever heard The Palace.

Watched it live as a kid. Paul pierce hit the shot to take the lead and they tackled him on the court thinking the game was over. How sweet this was lol. It was fun being a pistons fan during these times.

I was at this game wearing Pistons gear, behind the Pistons' basket way up in the upper deck. I remember sprinting down the concourse after Rip made this shot, in a state of complete elation. Thanks Rip.

Rip was so damn good at moving without the ball. This was Game 2 of the 05-06 season. They were undefeated that year until....Dallas. *shutters* I remember this shit like it was last week.

wow its not like he had a very good angle of what happened, its Steve Kerr, he's one of the most respected analysts/commentators around, he'll call a ref up if he see's something wrong, but with the angle of replay he didn't wanna say anything bad about the refs in case he was wrong.. when in doubt take the refs side.

actually steve just want to save his job... referees are well protected by stern... especially crawford..

Unsurprisingly, the ref that did this is the one who ejected Tim Duncan for laughing while he was sitting on the bench.
