Central locking repair Mitubishi Pajero Sport Shogun Challenger 2003 3.0 petrol. No money spent
The key-turn central locking on this car was broken, in this video I show you how I fixed it without spending any money on new parts.
The plastic repair putty I used was something like the one in the link below. I already had some lying around and only needed a tiny bit, it's definately worth buying some for this job if you don't have any already. Another 2 part epoxy might work as well.

The best way that I have found to remove a stuck oil filter on an MX5 without resorting to stabbing it with a screw driver and making a big mess. Of course the best thing is to buy a filter removal tool like this one if you have the time: www.mx5parts.co.uk/filter-removal-tool-mk1-25-mk4-p-3324.html

Ambu-bag spur 2 leak from white connector

The video shows a small leak coming from the white connector of an ambu-bag spur 2. The white ISO push-fit connector is in clearance with the mating feature on the transparent part which allows the white connector to freely rotate but this appears to result in a small air leak. Our testing has shown this the AmbuBag SPUR 2 cannot hold PEEP pressure even in its intended application. We have test...

thank you
thank you. been battling it and doing this it finally worked!
Didnt help that you didnt drill pilot holes for screws.
The melting surface shouldn't happend if you used the proper printing material. Also it might be good to go 100% infill or at least fill it up with something.

is this using kinect v 2?

My Shogun Sport only locks from the osf door. I've wired a fob alarm/locking system that sends a +/- pulse to either the lock or unlock relay. I wonder if you pulled the other door lock motor drive out and disconnected the plug... then test the resistance value at the faulty motor. I wonder if there might be an Interaction? Even test the control relays for resistance values. You may well ha e dealt with the effect but certainly not the cause. Good video though. 👍
Hey, so I was remaking this machine and I came across an issue with the motor arm. When it presses down on the BVM Bag it doesn’t come back up properly. The motor will just continue to press down on the bag. I am using a acyclic motor arm but I think it’s something else that’s giving it an issue. I would love to get some help on troubleshooting this problem. Have a great day and thanks in advance.
Absolute top notch driving there, MX5 man deserves a trophy. @derekavonswell1744, I believe bowls clubs are undersubscribed at the moment.
After his closing comments it is clear that he purposely drove stupid to get black flagged and this was not the first time.
Yeah 😂
What size of oil drum is this?
60cm long x 38cm diameter
Any baskets
for anyone considering doing this cut wood dowel the same diameter as the batteries but a little shorter. Add screws at the ends that need power and solder the cables to the screws then insert them lastly run slim rounded trunking or pull your door trim remove the corner with a knife and run the cable inside. this is a good idea but god knows why you would leave the cable like that and then make a video its lazy and looks awful another way would be drill under the lock at a angle to the edge of the door and chisel a channel into the edge and along the bottom then glue the cable in but that will require removing the door first
Mark, ironically, the conduct of this MX5 driver (the reason for the existence of this posting) is irrelevant to my point- I care not whether he was the first, last or only driver on the track, on a Mazda track day or whatever. I accept your explanation of what the driver did, why he was allowed to and what you said to him at the end. My point remains about what I saw at the PCGB track day this year. I have never even seen a driver blue flagged at Castle Combe, whereas, at Anglesey, I couldn't do a lap without being shown one- and, no, I wasn't driving at 17 mph, on the racing line, with my hazards on. An example. If another driver came up behind me as I went into the sharp left-hander, Rocket, (where there is a marshall station) and I was blue flagged, as it is against PCGB rules to overtake anywhere other than in the straights, that corner has to be taken without me being able (even if I wanted to) to let the faster driver pass. The corner immediately becomes a right hander (same premise) and so the first opportunity to overtake is between the exit of Rocket and the entry to Peel. On the exit of Rocket, there is another marshall station, where I would be blue flagged again. There was no place for me to let the car behind overtake from my entry into Rocket to my exit of it, so why the first blue flag at all, never mind the second? This hardly happened to me every lap, but I am aware from seeing the number of blue flags shown to other drivers whilst I was out on the track and from talking to drivers between sessions that many saw the same. 'Turn up with 500 bhp or don't come' was the very clear message I got from my (and others) experience on the day. And I will, of course, never go back.
Blimey didn't realise this was still going. Just came back to this clip for someone and saw your last. Must admit, can't actually work out what your point was. Mine was simply an objection to you describing Anglesey as 'lawless' and trying to understand your justification
Mark, I had no idea who 'supplied' the marshals at Angelsey for a PCGB track day and I am not sure it matters to me, though I respect that it matters to you. However, the point remains that, as per another posting about MX5 man in this thread, the driving standards were very poor- I would not have expected MX5 man to have got round three corners with such appalling driving; well done for calling him out, but far too late. I have been to many PCGC track days at Castle Combe and Silverstone over the past 20 years and never seen such terrible driving, which, as I say, seemed entirely endorsed by the marshalls and too many other drivers who were happy to join in. Bring at least GT3 or don't come. A road trip, sadly, completely ruined.
Hi Derek. I don't intend to labour this but would like to add that the track was virtually empty (there were only 10mins left) and he was not misbehaving in traffic. Because of this (and I must stress that), he was given a small amount of latitude and shown the driving standards flag prior to being black-flagged. I remain very uncomfortable with the notion that terrible driving is 'entirely endorsed by the marshals' and that 'too many other drivers were happy to join in'. Drivers are always welcome to lodge a complaint with the organisers and we will always come down hard on any misbehaviour. Our prime objective is to send EVERYONE home safely and with a smile on their faces. Regards Mark

Why do you have to have that loud annoying music?
I really need this
I seen boxes use 1 hole rather than multiple...is one way just good as the other?..thanks!
Deeper/larger Models need more holes to suck the plastic onto. Depends on the part and the amount of suction you can create
There are several DIY vac forms. I noticed some have lids, that hold the plastic, sit on top of box and some recess over the box...which is best? Or does even make a difference?
Making this vac former was so easy and got great results, so I would say any similar design based on the same principle will work without too much difficulty as well. If I were to make this again I would try with a plastic lunch box purely because it would be quicker to build than a wooden box, but I certainly would avoid plastic boxes with a raised edge as this will prevent the plastic from sitting uniformly on the bed. Hope that makes sense
@@00lewisd1 that doesn't really answer my question but thanks. I was wondering if the recess vacuumed the object better than the lid that just sit on top of the box
@@clintlucas7604 ah apologies, I think I misunderstood what you meant by recess, if you’re referring to the cavity in the middle of my white mould then I would say that cavity is only there for my application and the finished part should turn out well without it as long as you have enough holes in the bed around the mould. There should be plenty of examples of vacuum formed parts without central cavities out there
So I guess I'm asking does it matter if the cut out part that holds you plastic need to be flat or oversized to go over the box. Does one or the other make a difference?
@@clintlucas7604 oh I see. That shouldn’t make a difference as long as the softened plastic covers the entire mould and some vacuum holes around the perimeter of the mould
Hi, what engine do you use?
I have also created a simpler version of it watch on my channel
I have also created a simpler version of it watch on my channel
Anglesey is lawless. I have never seen such appalling driving (undertaking in the corners, overtaking too close, steaming up behind people etc...), all endorsed by the marshalls, who give you 8 nanoseconds after a faster car is behind you before furiously waving the blue flag like you had no business being there. And there are always far too many cars allowed on at once. And this was at a PCGB event. If you want to do a track day there, bring something with 100 bhp more than the next most powerful car. And pay those after the first 10 cars to arrive to go to lunch. For 6 hours.
just noticed your post and, as an Anglesey marshal, felt I should respond. PCGB does not use Anglesey marshals but brings in its own who, as far as I know are BMMC volunteer staff. The Anglesey marshals are all professional. On track days, we try to be reasonable about drifting and take into account such things as volume of traffic and if the individual is misbehaving in front of other drivers. We, as a circuit, also have a limit on the number of cars allowed out at any one time. It's a shame that you describe us as 'lawless' Finally, the marshal dishing out the verbal to this driver was, in fact, myself!
You know, i keep looking around and can't find much at all about 3D printing lead acid battery bodies. You'd think people would be going nuts making them for cheap
It’s amazing sir..!! Can you please tell me how you measure the tidel volume that is delivering by this bag at a perticular time
tidal volume can be caluclated by integrating flow rate over time. My Arduino code is available via the Instructables link

😍😍😍😍
How did you get away with driving like that for so long!? Ive been blackflagged for 2 fucking skids at Combe before. Anglesey Marshalls seem awesome!!
Combes always strict tbh
What tyres were you running on the front? Seems like a lot of understeer...followed by a low of oversteer 😎 looked like a lot of fun either way
they were Yokos AD08 but just way overheated so the pressure went up too high. Normally those tyres are great
@@00lewisd1 I ran nankangs on mine and the grip was amazing (in the dry) right up until they got too hot as well 🤣 I think im too tightfisted to pay for ad08's but have only heard good things about them...maybe one day when I grow up I'll spend the bit extra on them
I think the Nankangs have more grip but the AD08s are more progressive.
That was hilarious to watch! 😂😂😂 must have been so much fun! Maybe try a drift day???🤣
Hi Mike, Was looking for something similar. Do you think that I can go away with a 6v Mains adapter connected directly to the lock? I'm ok without having the UPS backup. What do you think? Thanks in advance
Yes as long as 6v is the correct voltage level for your lock that will be fine

which software you're using for the graphical view ? and to integrate it with your ventilator system? thanks
The graphical view on the PC comes as part of the test lung, the Ingmar Medical ASL 5000. It’s not electronically connected to the ventilator, just a clever test lung
@@00lewisd1 could you please provide the link to the software if it's free and the code or file you have used for the same ?
