Notting Hill Carnival is an annual event in London, celebrated over the August Bank Holiday weekend, primarily in the Notting Hill area of West London since 1966 . Notting hill carnival is one of the world's largest street festivals, attracting millions of visitors each year, and is a vibrant celebration of Caribbean culture, heritage, and the African diaspora in the UK. Claudia Vera Jones was the founder and Organizer of 1959 Caribbean carnival event, precursor of the Notting Hill Carnival.

Dates: Typically, it spans the last weekend in August, with festivities usually starting on Saturday and culminating on Monday (Bank Holiday).
The carnival has its roots in Caribbean culture, particularly the Trinidadian Carnival, and was first held in 1966. It has been years since I have visited my Dads hometown. It looks like Golden Discs have moved into where HMV used to be. I have lots of records I bought in Cork in a shop called the Leeside Music Shop. I do not know if that shop is still there. It was in McCurtain Street. A great video.

Hi @Rollo Thank for watching the video. It depends on your interest of Sightseeing. There are so many beautiful places to visit in Ireland. Galway City, Cork city, Dublin, Kilkenny city, cliffs of Moher. Hard for me to say the top 3 because I like many places with different reasons.😀

Thanks for your reply :) Very useful. We plan to go Dublin 1 day, 2 days nearby and then 3 days to the west coast where you have Cliffs of Moher, Killarney and Kylemore Abbey etc.

Wow! man, the city and new bus station is looking great! Thx 4 doing this buddy. I Have always loved Limerick's Georgian and victorian architecture that it has. And some of the streets facades are looking beautiful again on the victorian buildings, my favourites were the white frontage on the corner building shot and the one with the black paint work on top on upper William street store. Wow! this city is really looking stunning with its old victorian and Edwardian buildings and facades done up, some are real top-notch looking, thanks for sharing Limerick city with us, man. Great filming too as always. 💯👏
