I miss this show. I used to watch this all the time in my younger years

I remember watching this show as a boy. Reginald veljohnson was always to me exactly what I wanted to be, and I like to think that I grew into as a police officer. There were a couple of times where he had to deal with some really intense issues, such as racism on the force. I saw that a few times in my career, and I work very hard to stop it, that's why I got into internal affairs. In many ways, I missed the 90s, because somehow, it doesn't feel like things were nearly as bad as they are now

well, I'm a 33 years old man from Spain, and I was about to cry. Maybe I'm too emotional, but this sitcom made a huge part of my childhood. Funny fact: in Spain we call it ''COSAS DE CASA'' (literally ''things/stuff/events happening from a house/home). Now I'm a professional musician and I've never realized how good was this intro song (wonderfuly played, singed and orchestrated)

Family Matters if it was a 90's family sitcom

I miss when black people and white people got along. Their was a short period in the 80s and early 90s where it seemed like we were finally getting over all the sins of our great grand fathers and instead we just dove head first right back into it. Our cultures split and instead of shows that both black and whites could enjoy now they seem to put a wedge between us. Instead of letting the past die with our great grandfather's they dug it up subliminally telling both sides that we shouldn't get along. It's sad because in this time period it really did seem like in one generation we would finally be done with all the mindless hatred on both sides and not look at color but just see a fellow man. In 2023 it seems like we will never have peace between us. When are we just going to get together, stop listening to the war mongers in the media and just end this mindless hatred on both sides. As long as we keep in fighting against eqchother the political monsters that pit us against eachother will continue the corrupt actions and keep us busy fighting about things that happened a century ago.
