Sedans are also more aerodynamic and have you sit more like a recliner than a high chair. I prefer sedans and coups over SUV or pickup trucks. Sedans are just better and most consumers have lost their minds willing to pay more for what they don't need.

Americans just want a Fuel Efficient Mid-Size Pickups it should make sense that Mid-Size Pickups should be Fuel efficient not the Full Size Trucks. Make it make sense America. If I had $100k no doubt I will Import one to the USA, id rather be caught with it than without 🫡

Its because this truck simply wouldnt fit in the market. The Hilux is a commercial vehicle designed to be indestructible even in extreme territories. North american buyers prefer a smooth ride, a good acceleration and more luxury features. Pickups are used for daily driving and not necessarily for offroading. Toyota managed to made the Tacoma and Tundra reliable but not necessarily in a way the Hilux has to be in some other Markets.

The touted price of a hilux is somewhere in the ten thousand dollar range though I'm sure you wont see that price here. Bottom line if you want a truck here you're going to shell out between 25 to up to 35 thousand for a Tacoma, and even more for a tundra. Too bad for us who would gladly pay up to 15 thousand for a Hilux

Why do Americans and Canadians call everything illegal. It’s not illegal. You can import one and drive without being arrested and sent to the block. There is just a trade agreement between countries and car manufacturers on which cars, trucks and vans can enter different markets. It has a lot to do with gas, diesel production / costs, emissions, vehicle sizes etc. it’s definitely not illegal.

Compared to Nissan ,Hilux feels cheap and very soft when doing hard work. I stick to Nissan because they dont use marketing gimmics.

Sedan is the best, if you need more room get a hatchback, and if you have a large family get a wagon or minivan if you have a very large family

I went to Australia and New Zealand this past May and saw the Toyota Hilux everywhere. I really like them and I noiticed they're also sold in Mexico. I'm moving to San Diego next year and I'm tempted to buy on in Mexico!
