Set the chip level in vice still in housing. Heat it for a minute at 200 C THEN INCREASE TO 300 C (ABOUT 550 F) FOR 3 TO 4 minute. Let it cool and reinstall. I had to clear the codes with an OBD II reader and it actually re-solders the circuit inside the chip( I Think) who cares yes it works for Hyundai Palisade. Good video, Thanks.

My problem with Adaptive Cruise Control and Front Assist is that my car has Adaptive Cruise Control and Front Assist. Can't stand these features and I wish I could turn them off permanently.

Works perfect on Audi A6 C7. Thanks! After this fault happen I made image processing module removal to check for flood. But no flood on passenger compartment was found and everything looks perfect. So decide to try this fix. After 5 min. of hot air blowing with simple hair dryer fault gone. I think on A6 it's possible to make all repair process without removing camera unit. You can just remove T10 screws from camera unit, carefully unplug connection. Take control module out and go for some dryer work :)

I am having a problem with my 2016 Audi A7. The last time this happened was when someone hit my rear driver panel, and it ended up being a wire loose.

We have a 2016 Volkswagen Touareg TDI Sport w/ 54k miles. We are very thankful for all the details you gave on this very creative, low cost solution. For our repair, we used the 1/4” nozzle on the reflow heat gun, positioned an inch from the chip (With a square cut out in aluminum foil, masking the rest of the board still inside the aluminum housing) starting 250C for one minute stepping up to 300C for three minutes ending at 310C for an additional two minutes, we let the unit cool down for 45 minutes installed it and the ACC error went away. Once everything was reinstalled, we took our car out on the freeway to do a verification test and everything is functioning perfectly. From start to finish it took us one hour to complete the entire disassembly repair and reassembly process. Note: as other commenters Have recommended we used a large plier to apply grip to the widest point on the rearview mirror mount grip it tightly and did a quarter turn counterclockwise to remove the rearview mirror without incident. 1 month update: after ~1,000 miles long road trip the ACC error reoccurred, so we repeated the heat gun process using a slightly different temperature profile (3 min @ 250C, 5 mins @ 300C, 2 mins @ 330C, with 30 min cooldown) and wedged some wadded blue painter's tape between the windshield and camera to eliminate any vibration within the holding bracket.

What is the ID, OD, and material of the crush washer for the drain plug?

I have a 2016 Touareg TDI and I have the same error code except I also have U111300function limitation and C110400 camera fault. You think it's the same fix?

Question: 2013 A6 3.0T - My ACC is working fine thanks to this fix, but my Audi Braking Guard does not seem to be operating. In all my searching I can't seem to find any good info specific to Braking Guard. Any insight, clues or links to threads referencing this would be much appreciated. Thanks!

2013 Audi A6 3.0T, problem solved following video direction, thank you! Utilized a heat gun with a digital thermometer and left the pc board in chassis . Started off with 1 minute in the 200-250 Celsius range, followed by 2 minutes at 300C. Let it cool off and reassembled. The plastic backing on the windshield bracket assembly that is between the glass and the camera chassis was so brittle it cracked and fell apart while I was reinserting the camera. Used super glue and gaffers tape to salvage it. I live in So Cal and the direct sun cooks the camera and all the plastic around it, the camera chassis is hot to touch just from the sunlight. There needs to be a better way of insulating this area.

What abt the turbo version

Incredible. This method worked great and fixed the issue. Removing the rear view mirror was a real pain - had to use a pliers to twist off. 310ºc for 3 minutes and installed once cooled. I did not remove the ribbon and did not have issues with it when heating. Re-install was easy. Thank you for the video. Saved me $2,000.

Awesome video, I use ramps but wanted to know where the central jack point is for future reference. Just an FYI with the panel at 2:40 -- You only need to remove the left screw and from there you can just rotate the panel away rather than taking it off completely. Changing the oil on my Gen4 Mazda3 is EZPZ, I love this car!

After watching your video, I removed the circuit board and took it in to a local computer repair shop to have them follow the video and apply the heat (300 degrees Celsius) using their more sophisticated heating device and magnifying software. They only charged me $25. I reinstalled it and it's fixed. You saved me about $900.

Thank you! Your fix worked on my 2015 VW Touareg. I've been waiting almost 3 months for a replacement camera (on back order) and the ACC warning was driving me mad. I purchased the heat tool you recommended, set it at 310 and heated the chip for 3 minutes with great results. Again, thank you.

You should always clean off with a clean cloth the filter mating surface on the block as you don't want any debris on that surface that might stop the filter gasket from sealing properly.

This worked for me but I had to do this several times as the summer sun seems to cause an issue and cant always find shade to park . Anyone had a similar issue and any way to keep the unit cool ?
