Thank you so much! I love it still and it's been two years or just under I believe. I think you'll like it. The reason I picked this one is because it fills up with water. I never had much luck with the HE ones and I feel like we need WATER to wash clothes. my last washer literally didn't get some clothes all the way wet! I will say, the only issue I have with it is that it is very sensitive to how balanced a load is and it seems to be more so, the older it gets but its easy to fix. my fault because I tend to just throw clothes in without balancing lol

Same for bleach. There’s no place to add these and once the door locks it doesn’t open. Not a well thought out washer.

I have this set and love it. I use a downy ball for my fabric softener and if you hit pause and wait the door lock undoes itself. Light on door lock goes off and you’ll hear a clicking noise letting you know door lock is off. Just open lid and continue with what you’re doing.

Is it normal for it to sound and feel like it's constantly starting and stopping?

YEs detergent goes in the bottom or like myself, I like to place 1/2 on the bottom & 1/2 on the top of the laundry.

I'm so sorry I didn't get around to replying sooner! I'm not sure if there is still water under the drum, but I can't ever see or hear any under there. But it always fills above the clothing for me! Maybe it's a defect? Thanks for watching and good luck!

There is water that stays in the ring of the top of the drum it is there for balancing and does not come out.
