Mothers Day Breakfast Flight!
This was the most special flight I've ever had. It's been a long time coming, but I finally was able to take my mom flying, and on Mothers Day too. Having Sean with us was an added bonus. I love flying with him, he's helped me so much on becoming a better pilot myself.
My mom is my biggest role model and supporter, and has been with me every step of the way since my very first day of flight school. She means everything to me, being able to show her what I've worked so hard to become has been so rewarding. I'll never forget this very special day and flight, and am so happy to have captured it all on video.
p.s. rough video clips and editing my bad

I Think I Broke His Airplane!?!

Shortest lived aerobatics career!!! I've been having so much fun flying with Sean in his Glasair the past month. It flys super sensitive & touchy, but it was a great learning experience. He's been trying to teach me some aerobatics since I have ZERO experience. Clearly I can't roll the airplane and probably won't ever again... I pushed it a little bit too much upside down. luckily Sean was ther...

First flight in Chicago since becoming a pilot! I did my discovery flight in 2018 with Arianna while she was working on her Commercial Single Engine Land license and this was the first time we've got to fly together since! Arianna is a has her commercial single and multi licenses, she is a CFI, CFII, and MEI as well! We had a blast taking off of KLOT doing a touch and go at Chicago Midway (KMDW...
Cessna 140 with Ragwing Mafia
Переглядів 2,5 тис.2 роки тому
Route: KGEU - E60 - E63 - KGEU So excited to post my first video featuring this flight with Paul, aka Ragwing Mafia! This was the second time we got to go up in his 1946 Cessna-140! Paul is currently a 206, 207, Caravan, and a Citation CJ 2 in Arizona and a great CFI and pilot. We went over some maneuvers like steep turns, and he showed me a few things about how tailwheel's fly and two new airp...
You can see how touchy that thing is
I would keep a little more engine on the flare, Cirrus landing is like a low pass, if you try to stall like a Cessna she will flot and then "crash" at the runway...
Bons vôos!
What course did you use for Instrument written? Next for me. Thx
Bring some bread for that butter!!
Congrats
Meh, I wanted to see CAPS in action. Couldn't you pull it just once for your viewers? Just kidding. ;) You probably read this comment in every upload... sorry about that. :)
Congratulations!

Thank you!
I can watch this over and over again. Had a full smile watching and many giggles. Well put together Mia! Your talents continue to amaze me. I love it and I love you!❤️ Best flight of my life and a lifetime Mother’s Day memory.
Love you mom, such an amazing mothers day <3
You need to do more of this, love watching people fly. Maybe take some family or friends up that haven't flown with you yet or some date trips.
I'll try my best! I teach 99.99% of the flights I do so its hard to film anything but I'll try to do more fun flights!
@Mia Loxley do you or someone film your teachings? That would be fun also to watch and if not your company then at least you could get some videos done and benefit from it that way too.
Great video, would of loved to been able to do this for my mom. ❤
Thank you!
Momma looked nervous but did well!
She was a trooper!
This is so wholesome
aw thank you!
Really cool. :). Huge respect and admiration going your way👍
❤️👍
freakin good job
Magnificent 👏.
Nice
I’ll tell you there’s nothing more fun and exciting than landing an airplane.
And especially at night.
Nicely done. The Cirrus SR22 is a fun plane (or a 20 in this case).
Dat Mooney lookin smooth 😍
That 172 flys so easily, you could take a nap and you’d still be fine.
It seems the tried & true *stall* upon landing method isn’t always necessary. It’s taught to us regularly (especially in civil aviation) but this landing would of been alot more fun had she gradually flared and allowed the aircraft to touchdown on its own.
(4:05) It's an RF-101 Voodoo, a 1950s era fighter, and so is the one on the other side. The RF-101 was the reconnaissance version of the F-101 Voodoo fighter.
Nice, is this KSDL?
Good job! and as my old instructor would say, "let's do it again"
Weird to fly from the right seat, I m not used to. I was scared with the descent rate prior the flare but you managed to get a great landing. Great job!!
Great video, Mia !!!!!!!!!!!
thank you so much!! Finally got the audio in
Aerobatics, one of my favorite activities =)

Whoever left Mia in charge of making thumbnails..well played 😂

Love the whispers… it added so much emotion in the editing 🥲😂
This was definitely an emotional video for me to make
What is that truck with the fan boat blade? I've never seen anything like that
Honestly I have no idea!
If you could fly any air airplane at the museum which one would you choose?
The spitfire!
@@MiaLoxley lol
Just kidding the 172…
Homeboy doesn’t know what an aerosport quail is? Amateur
Truly was embarrassing for me to be there with him
I enjoy the longer videos and the views are incredible.
Thank you!! I'll work on posting longer videos
Super cool views!
thank you! so pretty up there
Great video, you girls rocked it. Listening to the pre flight checks was pretty neat. Behind the scenes of what we never hear!
Thank you!!
