SNOWFLAKE EARRINGS
Переглядів 191Місяць тому
I had a request from Cheryl for a Snowflake Earrings tutorial and here's a version that I have been making for a number of years. (I should say: 'a number of ears'!!). I have used 4 x 2" lengths of 0.8mm (20-gauge) wire, plus some 0.4mm for each earring and threaded with small seed beads and crystals. But the choice of beads and the size of the earrings is very much up to you. You can also crea...

BAT decoration
Переглядів 692 місяці тому
This stylised bat decoration can be suspended in a window, or from a black sprayed branch as a Halloween ornament! I used black iron wire to create it, however, you can make it out of any wire you have to hand and then spray paint it black! The scrunched wire used within the frame is 0.3mm gauge. Have fun creating a variety of sizes to decorate your room!

Not just for autumn! These earrings look elegant throughout the seasons! The outer frame shapes are created out of 0.8mm (20-gauge) wire and woven with 0.4mm gauge. Other leaf shapes can be created in a similar way, using leaf outline templates that you can trace and find on the internet.
RAIN CLOUD PENDANT
Переглядів 1643 місяці тому
As we've had so much rain here, I was inspired to create this pendant, would could also be made as a decoration, or connected to the front of a greeting card: 'Every Cloud Has a Silver Lining'! I have used 0.8mm wire to create the framework and 0.4mm gauge to scribble weave the inside of the cloud frame. The frame is suspended with 3 faceted teardrop beads (rain drops), but you could use cut ch...
