I am both a roller coaster enthusiast and train enthusiast. The two often go hand in hand, so this should come as no surprise. I may upload videos of roller coasters from time to time, and may get around to reviewing some of them. However, I'm more likely to upload railfanning videos from various stations. For those of you who would like to know my coaster count and my listings for my favorite roller coasters, I have it linked at the bottom of this page and on my banner. Feel free to leave a comment criticizing me for ranking Millennium Force above Maverick.

The Permanente Local could not have been convenient for my schedule today. This video shows the outbound from Permanente Road, Cupertino at 12:00 PM, traveling with one hopper, and the inbound traveling light by Madera Drive, Cupertino at 12:42 PM. Due to trackwork (presumably), here's a southbound Caltrain arriving on the northbound rails. Not really such a rare catch nowadays with the constant trackwork going on, but it's still cool nonetheless. It was only 2 minutes behind schedule, but got stuck opening and closing its doors over and over for some odd reason. Not sure why. Whatever. On the way to and back from my therapist in Palo Alto, I stuck around at Mountain View. I called up the Caltrain radar for the first time in a while to see if I could hear any news on the freights. And wouldn't you know it, I was able to make out that the UP Mission Bay Local was coming through. So I caught that. Success! The Zephyr arrives 4 and a half hours late into Truckee. And the fifth of five stations for the day. With my journey finally done, the southbound departs away from the setting sun. I caught this at what appeared to be the most ideal golden hour of all time. I'll have to try to get this again some day in the future. Shot with an iPhone 7 at 60fps.

Fourth of five stations for the day, having finally landed back in California. Nice to see the overhead wires well into their progress just north of Millbrae. No one has answered my questions; why are there mix ups with train wagons here for example one locomotive carrying both blue and reds. I believe blue is nys and should be kept together and the reds are connecticut which should be together. Red with red blue with blue. You get me?

I suppose so. It's possible I made errors on those ones but I also wouldn't be surprised if they did, since the M8s would work on any of those three lines.
