Stalker 2 is the buggiest game i've played in a very long time- and I've played Fallout 4 for about 2000 hours (at least).

I want to love this game. Im a big fan of the story. But the abaolutely horrid ai mixed with enemy sponges (ESPECIALLY MUTANTS) has completely lost me as a player. Ive put 35 hours in the story and i just cant bring myself to go back dealing with being constantly broke, overweight and blowing entire inventories of bullets on three or four blood suckers alone. I appreciate what they are going for, but this game doesnt feel like it requires skill, just patients and overlooting meds and ammo, so you dont have to resort to picking up pos weapons from enemies. On that topic, im fucking tired of enemies having infinite ammo against you, but apon looting them, they are only carrying 0- 15 rounds. Game is just not fun for me right now. Mods are the only answer for me.

Once you're done with the trilogy, Stalker:Anomaly welcomes you with open arms (it's also free). Stalker:Gamma (modded anomaly) is arguably the most complete Stalker experience thanks to years of modding. Goude huntingue Stalqueur

Just reading the book roadside picnic that inspired the games ... i dont know how to explain everything feels human And down to earth People are just trying to get by just like real life They have friends and family people they love and would do anything for And yes wanted to play fallout 4 and cant get past the mechanist lair hell weapons dropping in the base game that are dlc weapons and you cant get ammo for (lever action rifle) My friend has started playing stalker 2 and the first thing i said was You want money you collect artifacts Lighter then weapons and if you find a good one you keep it if you want it Stalker has always drawned me in exploring abandond building hiking through the forest even finding a old post of a road Just like how stalkers learn the way to go to avoid people i walk into the forest to avoid people A backpack on and finding something lost and never knowing if it was thrown or treasured closely Stalker is amazing as a concept and as a thing in life Although yes the acronym Stalker Scavengers, Trespassers, Adventurers, Loners, Killers, Explorers and Robbers Hell even when i worked on some houses wallpaper stripping finding notes scribbled on walls from people who used to live their in 1918 or 1850s ... its always a site even just thinking about how it was back then

I love the series, i remember finding this game at gamestop not knowing that i would fall in love with the series. I love that STALKER 2 has breathed a new life into the series and draw in so many new people. I really hope that we dont have to wait over a decade for the next game in the series though. Also i could be wrong, but i am pretty sure GSC went to the actual site where you can and took pictures and the like to recreate it.

The problem with buying a new weapon instead of repairing is you loose all your mod upgrades. Some mods increase the weapon resilience. Also there is a mod to reduce the weight of the weapon significantly, allowing you to carry more loot, which makes you better able to afford repairs

Oh my fellow Stalker beginner, you wanna play Stalker G.A.M.M.A and trust me, it's gonna blow your mind. I wouldnt say it's better than 2, but man does it bring some much-needed systems that i wish the sequel gets later on. Whats more, gamma is completely free.

the thing i love Lore wise with the STALKER series is the fact that aside from the blind dogs, flesh and boar all the mutants are not a result of the event that created the zone. They're all man made within the labs that litter the zone and the only reason for their escape is the result of the first emmision that created the zone. you could very much argue that the main character of the STALKER series is the zone and that you are simply fulfilling a role as an NPC in the environment (though i feel this is less strong in stalker 2) whilst the zone is it's own living breathing entity. Hey man, you need to take a look at your capture settings, there are a lot of compression artifacts when there is movement on screen which suddlen makes the quality of the video tank. (overall a very good and informative video though)

Just bought cheap steam account with Stalker 2, and no fucking way I`ll buy "normal" game, this trash crashes every 5 min, not to mention shit performance xD I played all Stalker games, and only Anomaly/Gamma/EFP makes any sense to me, even with crashes. For normies S2 can be ok, but GSC made boring, poorly optimised, does not making any sense game xD

Note Strelok is seasoned stalker he has artifacts and experiences that other stalker only can dream off so yes I can imagine him being able to use his knowledge to be a pain to fight in a one on one battle Scar on the other hand is a seasoned merc and ho knows what C-Cons brain washing did to him

Side boss, Tyrant from arena (Rustoc) also felt like throwing the goals at the ball.

Metro and Stalker are imho the best post apocalyptic open world games (although Metro is somewhat less of an open world). Fallout 3 & 4 are not even in my list nor worth considering.

A life still not working correctly on Xbox brother 😂 I'm late in the main story and I see groups of 5 to 8 random faction exo stalkers spawning like 20 feet away from me

Yeah, how me this game is one of those games that is actually interesting to play, after cyberpunk I guess. Good start for this game and a lot of sales is important, it is the base for future games, like Witcher for CDpr

If you like stalker and want more survival elements you should look into stalker gamma.

Yeah Stalker 2 does the Bethesda magic 100,000 times better than any of the Fallout games. Stalker 2 is my introduction to the series and I too went and bought the first 3 but I haven't finished 2 yet so I'll save those till I'm done. I love that there is no fast travel and how dangerous the game is. Even with my modded weapons and exo suit I still get merk'd.

You need to play oblivion lost 2.5 and lost alpha to see their original vision a bit more for stalker and it's amazing.

Stalker 2 crashed on me like 1-2 times in 4-5 hours its honestly nothing too serious sometimes it doesnt even crash at all im playing on the xbox series x

Ukrainian music in the game is different. Some of the songs are created by small post-punk groups, some consist of old ethnic wedding songs, and some I didn't even know before. Hello from Ukraine :)

Glad to see Stalker 2 is sparking an interest into the original trilogy. Once you beat Call of Pripyat you need to get a PC and play Anomaly and some of the many other great mods and mod packs. My favorite is GAMMA that stays on my PC. Finishing up Radiophobia3 as we speak.

Why no one talks about one of the major "fixes" that stalker 2 is doing over the fallout 4 and bethesda games in general - there are no loading screens! like the world is absolutely stitchless. How is that even possible? - my first thoughts of stalker 2 after 900 hours in fallout 4 😂 That's so amazing!

everything thats well done/immersive is absolutely ruined by the awful A-Life 2.0 and enemy A.I.

I found this game to be really replayable cause right after I finished the story I started a new game just to see how other choices effect the story (and to take it a bit more slowly). I also didn't find out that the game had a fast travel system until the very end where it becomes sort of mandatory lmao

Giving Stlaker 2 fat too much credit. This game is a broken mess. Optimization is ridiculous, HDR is beoken, and the AI legitimately all over the place and doesn't work properly at all. Stalker 2 is boring and broken.
