This is a really great video and helpful. I couldn't find anything on how to do this specific technique, mainly just for round necks. I am making a dress that features a contrasting neckband on a square neckline. Then I found this video and now I understand completely! Now just gotta do it as neatly like you did it ~ 🌠awesome!
