Meditation with Buddha waterfall review
I like mine, but maybe small for me as 6ft 33in leg 14st, But I manage. I think you are a good height for it. I wish the gearing cassette was a little more bigger, feel it needs to minimum 8 speed. Maybe will change it to one if it so will and if I intend to keep. I tend to slide forward a little on mine, maybe adjust the handle bars or change the seat. Where do you put your front and rear lights as it hard to see where with your luggage? Its my first folder, £150. I like slip on an off and storing it. My invest in a higher spec i.e. Tern x11 but that's pricey, a small mortgage. Enjoy
@@wild4fp oooh so it's slightly small for 6ft ok thanks. Yes I'd love a Tern maybe in the future. I have i rear light i slot into my panniers, I'll do a short video about my light situation I'll do that soon. Yes it definitely would be better with more gears. Thank you for commenting, very enlightening. 🚲👍☕

During the lawsuit mentioned in the above comment they had to prove the difference between a cake and a biscuit and it was decided that when they go stale, cakes go hard and biscuits go soft! Therefore Jaffa Cakes are in fact cakes as they go hard when stale!
@@amybooth1993 Oh yes, they do actually go hard. 🔨cake, I concur.. thank you for commenting, from here in sunny UK only joking, it's freezin, kettles on for my brew and jaffa CAKE 🫵👍
Oh I know! I'm in Orkney, Scotland. Boats cancelled, a snow warning. Time to hunker down in a blanket for the weekend!
@amybooth1993 Oh no, yes I've seen that 11 - 16 inches of snow, hope you've stocked up on Jaffa CAKES. Everything's OK with a brew and a Jaffacake lol ☕
Hello. Sweet bike. I did same as you and built by part my Ice Cream Truck with 29 x 3,25 Duro Crux. Even with a fat Tyre bike, the Duro Crux are too big for the rear. It fits but almost no clearance for mud. I recently went on tour and got stuck with mud. I`ve noticed you have a chain tensioner in the rear dropouts. Can you tell me wich one you got, because the ICT and the Karate Monkey have the same type of dropo outs. Thanks you mate
@@ernestomartinez2436 Hi thank you so much, so sorry to hear about your muddy problems. I have Surly Monkey Nuts fitted and they work great. Ice cream truck hashtag well jell, very nice sir, I'd love one or a Wednesday. Thank you for the information about the mud clearance, it's great we can share information we may not find on forums. Anyway I've got to go I'm making another video about the KM but im sharing the prices.. Thanks again have a lovely day 🚲👌👍

i like ur wheels, very fun build u did :3
oh yeah i got a Straggler i converted it to a e-bike for communting to Banlieu to Paris and a K.M, i am working on it. I started from the frame and went to different version now i am putting a hydraulic fork and building new wheels for it, in 27, cheerio.
@@funkyfreshanalog3043 oh wow thank you, yes it is fun i like that, thanks so much have a lovely day. Do you have a bi cycle you love? Thanks again..
@@powreviews A bicycle i love ? that's a big question Old Peugoet, Bianchi and Motobécanne, 80's road bike or randoneuses. More for the aesthetics and their parts, i love working on old bikes. Commençal cross country fully suspended bikes Orbea's also make so serious enduros fully suspended or hard tails bikes. I came from Bmx and Longboard skates, give me any dirt one and the kid in me make a come back, that's the best therapy. Obviously my two Surly, best bikes i ever owned, the two of them complete my needs. (update the straggler is getting a nexus 3 and the motor is going to another frame, that bike isn't made for that and i hate doing that to it) it's been a moment i ride bikes, for fun or to go to work, or both, i am in my 40,s question do u name ur bikes mine are Turbo for the straggler, Parktool for the K.M and Günter for the cube frame who will get beaten with a bafang mid engine bisous :3
@@funkyfreshanalog3043 wow you're a true bike lover, so much knowledge. I love how bikes bring so much happiness. The best feeling in the world is new bike day that big beautiful box arriving oh can't beat it. Thank you so much for sharing. Im going to go through your bikes and look them all up on the Internet. But the older ones are really intriguing. I love steel frames. ok thanks again pr
Hi there. Fyi, the clutch on your rear "mech" is intended to be engaged 💯... the only reason it can be disengaged is to make the removal of the rear wheel easier. Engaged, it will keep the chain from scratching your frame or falling off all together. Anyway, thanks for the vid!
@@wannaplayoutside You're welcome and thank you, I have struggled to get the wheel off on this bike for a couple of years and you've just solved it with 1 comment so thank you so much for commenting. This is exactly why i love making bike videos because i learn stuff too. Thanks again muchley. 🚲👌👍 have a lovely day
@powreviews I am, also Tahoe YakFisher... my kayak channel was a covid project but you have inspired me to build a general "outdoors" channel focusing on bikes, skis and mountain travel. Thanks again.

@@TahoeYakFisher oh wow nice range you've got, yes i found bikes in the 80s it was just an amazing time to be into bikes, i remember the neon bright colours the covers for wheels the trying to fix your own bike, was good times. The feeling you get from a new bike can't be beat. Thank you for sharing i enjoyed looking your bikes up on the Internet 👌🚲👍
@powreviews I found mountain biking early, got my first mtb in 1989, and have only started to ride drop bars in the last 10 years. One item on my bucket list is a trans continental bicycle tour. I live in the mountains where the roads are narrow and busy with giant commercial trucks, which is why the Karate Monkey... time to switch it up with some bikepacking! Thanks for the great content, very therapeutic at this exact moment.
@@TahoeYakFisher OK so that sounds amazing a trans tour, yes similar to me your bike timeline, i made a vid a few years ago about my road bike, it was a bmc. Do you remember what your first mountain bike was? This last few weeks I'm making more vids, I'm just starting out in the world of youtube, and loving making vids particularly about bikes, I'm going to do a close up of my monkey next. Thank you so much for your comment it really means a lot, have a lovely day 🚲🚲🚲🚲🚲👍
@@powreviews Do I remember my first mtb, of course I remember! Bridgestone MB-3 with all Shimano Deore components. I even had a spring on my seatpost called a Hite-Rite... the original dropper! You had to grab your quick release and sit down!

Yes, apparently if you follow them on social, most of them are upset and say the programme is highly edited, it's addictive to watch but i do feel sorry for them. I suppose it's a good lesson be careful if you trust the media. Enjoy the positive and ignore the haters.. thanks for commenting have a lovely day.. ps I'm on episode 29 😯😀🫣👍
How many bikes do you have?
@@bennettshfd2 i have 6 i think lol.. I'll do a video next week and talk a bit about them🚲🚲🚲🚲🚲🚲lol
@powreviews I have 2, and really want a 3rd, but my wife would kill me!
I have a Trek Emonda, and a Breezer Doppler Pro Plus, but would love to have a Karate Monkey too! So one is a fast road bike, one is an adventure/touring bike, and would like a bike packing/off road bike.
@@bennettshfd2 oh they're nice bikes lovs the look of the doppler frame i love thin tubing, I'd love to collect surlys but the usual, room, money etc puts me off lol
I just bought a karate monkey, and im looking for a rack. One of my considerations is that Surly recommends not using the fender eyes for rack mounting as they may bend. I'm curious as to why you didn't use the provided rack mounts up the seat stay?
@@TahoeYakFisher hi, thank you for commenting. I had a dropper post on, and it hit the bag but now i don't have the dropper post I'll probably move the fittings. Its working fine at mo but the great thing is i can pretty much adjust it however i want. it's all really versatile 🚲, well done on your purchase you've made an excellent choice, i love mine👌

Why didn't you just buy the Surly rack that's made to fit the bike correctly?
@@jrh2015 that's a great question, i forgot to say in the vid. I did consider that but when i was after a rack the Surly one was i think about £170 with panniers etc it would of been hundreds of pounds, so i went for cheaper lighter options, i think my rack, bags (from charity shop) etc my set up was just over £150..thank you for pointing this out i might have to do another vid saying all this lol
