I tried it for 2 months, at first my hair actually became a lot healthier than before, but it started to get worse soon and in the end, it was unbearable how itchy my hair was so I quit.
You really need a lot of time and patience and trying different things, like brushing and combing in the shower, using a scalp scrubber or fine tooth comb while in the shower, not using a towel to dry it, bonnet or silk pillow cases at night, using baking soda like once a week then once every 2 then once a month to ease into the transition of not using shampoo. You really have to play around, I think it ultimately took my about 6 months for my hair to finally balance out.
It took my hair about 5 to 6 months to finally balance. Are you sure it's breakage and not regrowth. Breakage will be different very uneven with tatered ends. New growth is when you see a bunch of little hairs all the same length sticking up.
7 years no poo. My hair health has been restored. The results have been amazing. Dandruff completely gone (also reduced sugar for this), hair stays softer for longer, can go 2 weeks without washing, doesn't get greasy, the frizz has disappeared I regular trim the edges to help this too, I'm sure the volume has got thicker and my hair falls out less when I brush ( I also switched to bamboo hairbrush and Comb). The only thing is my hair doesn't smell great but the results have been worth it. I also use an avocado, yogurt and egg hair mask which replenishes the hair, rosewater spray has also keep the hair soft and give it a tint of a nice smell. I have used natural sources to clean my hair and scalp such as henna powder and shikaki powder along with Argan oil. My mum also used this growing up and her hair was extremely healthy. Can't recommend this enough. Also wrap your hair in a towel instead of rubbing as that will weaken the roots. Don't use any sort of heat products such as hair dryers let it dry naturally. Wash your hair with cool water as hot water will dry it out and stick to once a week.
You'd probably be better off using baking soda once a week then like once every 2 weeks then once a month. I noticed that my hair doesn't fall out or shed like it did while using shampoo and now if I put shampoo or condition even just on my ends it instantly starts falling out.
I JUST put a tiny but of shampoo and conflditioner in my hair bc it was gett8ng greasy after a week to two weeks, I notice the frizziness after the shower while I was still in the bathroom. I dislike shampoo and conditioner even more now cuz it still affects hard even after not using it for a bit. I have to start rustling my hair when washing
Like warm or cold. Hot water causes the oil in ur hair to melt and clump. Ignore the coment above. Almost ALL hair damage is caused by shampoo. I know because I have perfect shoulder length hair and shampoo has never touched it. No splits, no fly aways, no breaks, no bed hair. I wake up. Brush it and its perfect.

Does hair falls alllot at start ?
Bro I got school
For me it worked after like 3 weeks
for me my hair started to curl 4 days after and i just detangled my hair in the bath
So did you ever go back to using shampoo
I’ve been on no shampoo for like 6 days and my hair is already slightly wavy than it usually is
I'd be happy with it staying the same, now I won't need to buy any shampoo again
there is no shampoo on the shelf..... the brands are not there.....

Damn how you don’t poo bro that’s crazy
Brooo i need your help i didn't shampoo my haïr for about 2 months but m'y hair IS just frizzy and flat
@@Bashiralashi6542 I wonder where all the foods he eats goes 🤔
Do you had dandruff before doing no shampoo? I’m interested in trying this! Would be possible to only use conditioner?
Mine doesn't smell like much, only a little and it's not unpleasant, just kinda neutral
So you’re telling me im supposed to deal with a stinky, greasy and flaky set of hair for 3 months only for it to not possibly work? ill pass
Its adapting to having absence of sulfate. The natural sebum in your hair is what hair products try to replicate
Shampoo is modern days scam
What happens if I slowly do no shampoo Like every other day Then once a week Would that work
In my experience it’s better if you just go cold turkey and stop completely 😊

No it doesn't work, if you are living in a humid county shampoo is a must. Not doing shampoo for 2 days is a nightmare 😂
i use a little bit of volume powder for styling. How can i wash my hair without shampoo?
When I did my first shower without shampoo my hair was not soft and I was able to control it and after like a day it looked great
Im on week 2, my hair is very greasy, my scalp is very itchy, and my dandruff has never been worse.
Try using them scalp massager thingys in the shower
Then no shampoo might not be the thing for you
no keep going it will stop
Did your hair get curly?
@@mehmetkizkapan7326 mine didn’t get curly but it held waves much better
how bout stinky scalp

And how you clean ur hair now?
@@Grugobwater
@@lemonke5341 nice Im using only conditioner and my hair are super smoothly
I tried no poo on summer last year and it didnt work but i tried again on autumn this year and it works well for me
W opinion
You don't use any external oil too?
Did you only use water? And if so hot or cold water
cold, and brush ur hair 2x a day
Did you only use water? And if so hot or cold water
definitely cold water, hot water would damage your hair worse than shampoo could
