Frankly, if I was the Ninjago writer, I wouldn’t add romances all together outside Jaya, but without the season 3 stuff. That’s just because I feel it’s unnecessary, and the female characters should be important without being romantically involved with any of the characters.

I have sometimes thought that Cole seemed like the least important Ninja with the least amount of story (Kai started as a main character, Jay is the funny one with a girlfriend, Zane is a robot and Lloyd is well Lloyd) so they decided to make Cole the best character. Or at least the most likable
