Story 1 follows an Indian guy who forms a close bond with a gay friend, only to keep him "on the bench" - using him for emotional support and companionship while proceeding with an arranged marriage. This story sheds light on the painful realities many LGBTQ+ people face, being strung along and sidelined by those who ultimately cannot return their love. It reveals how societal and cultural pressures lead to relationships filled with hidden pain, leaving one person trapped in a cycle of hope and heartbreak.
Story 2 brings a very different, yet equally impactful, perspective. This time, a straight guy pretends to be gay to manipulate and expose a vulnerable gay classmate, sharing private chats with friends in an attempt to humiliate him. This cruel act led the young man to severe depression, causing him to withdraw from school and feel ashamed of who he was. Despite the hardship, he eventually found the strength to rebuild himself, regaining confidence and courage after years of struggle. By sharing his story with us, he hopes others can find empowerment and see that they’re not alone in facing these struggles.
