Well, Diablo 1 Any% is a record I've wanted to get for quite some time now, but I've never really grinded it properly. After 2-3 weeks of attempts I managed to get this run. I couldn't believe that I got it with almost a full minute lost compared to my previous PB pace, but the luck was on my side. Next goal is 0:40 with a bit better luck and movement or even lower if an ogre disappears. That was my first finished run after like 5 hours of attempts.

~0.120s improvement over my previous pb, optimally the run with this route goes down to a high 19.4s. I got around 10, 19s runs in like an hour of attempts. This one was good, but I could've had more speed up to the end. I will probably improve it in the future for 19.6s This took about less than two hours.

Why does the video stop when loading?
It's either me poorly editing between map transitions or you're talking about when I lower the fps to 4 before hitting triggers in order to save time.

My D1 knowledge is a little rusty: why do you want to be low health at all times with eneryg shield?
If enemies hit you for more health than what you already have they have no chance to stun you with their attacks.
Old Diablo was so much fun with some of the “duped gear” 😆

Forgot to ask how many run did you do before hitting 12m30? It did 1500ish runs before hitting a sub 13m.
Well I am at 1350 resets, but I do reset a lot on gold duplication. For the last week I was getting low 13min runs every day. Then I got a 12:57. Few days later I got this run and exactly the next reset I got a 12:32.

I forgot to comment this but about 5 months ago i got the entire half life series on steam for like $4 bc of a summer sale, and before I even went through with the purchase i watched this video and i for real thought that all of the meme dialogue was the vanilla half life experience and i was surprised when i played it and it was normal dialogue lmfao still one my favorite speedruns to watch just bc of the EDM in the background
Watching Ryan's 22s run and couldn't spot any difference until I saw he jumped too high into the silver door, is that it?
tiny optimisations and some fps tricks, I probably could've gotten half a sec with better movement on the end.

I can blame myself for that, usually I would use it after going down a level and make a save but there I made the save without using it so I was reloading without realising I don’t have it.
Level 11 also took a ton of time which was unlucky

@kisimov4246 yeah true. Btw im going a bit off topic here but do you maybe know how to have stable 1000 and 500 fps? Cause when i set it the value is inbetween thus making my game move slowly.
