2 Hour Sewing Project Spring Wreath Sash and a little Applique´
This fun sewing project will make a great addition to an old wreath that needs a bit of freshening up!
I made my sash as follows:
Cut a 10" x width of fabric piece for the sash. Extend the sash by cutting an additional 10" strip and sewing together at the center.
My sash before sewing was 10 x 72
Fold in half and cut an angle on each end, sew right sides together at open side with a 1/4 inch seam allowance, leaving space to turn the sash right side out.
Top stitch, tie on your wreath and your done!

I am still trying my hand at getting my sweatshirt designing just right. I think this may be the way. Just a simple piece of fabric with the design stitched to it and applied to the shirt. We found the letters on Pinterest, we just searched fabric alphabet letters. They are 4 inch letters. There are lots of free printables out there to choose from and many different fonts.
Super easy block that really shows off the fabric!

I love the Hemingway pouches that @centerstreetquilts created. As I watched her create I wondered if I could use my As Many As Technique with her idea and get two from one. I worked! Fabric makes As Many As pretty easy, we can make fabric any size we want! lol If you are new to this channel, check out my other channel @MaymayMadeIt for paper crafting. For the supplies I used in the video today ...

I would take thread and a needle and give kitty a face , I think that would make kitty really pop out. Very cute idea for a sweat shirt! ❤

I was at a Quilt Retreat this weekend and a lot of women were making the Hemingway bag. I was working on other things but watching them make it. Your instructions are so much more clear than how they were doing it. I’m making one tomorrow afternoon thank you.

I also have problems with the zipper pulls, but I did finally figure out something that helps. After you insert one side and go to insert the 2nd, don't insert it directly straight into the zipper pull. Angle it away so that you are inserting at an angle. I wish I had a picture I could share. If I insert the left side first, when I go to insert the right side, the teeth are inserted with me holding the tape at an angle, the bottom of the tape not parallel to the first tape, but angled away slightly. I do hope you can figure that out.

I am thinking you should have trimmed it to 8-1/2" square to preserve that 1/4" seam allowance all around.. Then the block would be 8" finished when you sew it into your quilt. That also would have saved the points of your star.
