I'm not into sports at all and I'm here after Shannon's interview of Sheryl Underwood and this is what I see: Shannon was talking game and Skip longevity in Brady. The disconnect is Shannon is arguing game with a friend. Skip thought it was unfriendly to talk about his peers. The end result is Shannon didn't know Skip like he thought and Skip need more black friends to understand the culture.

Thank you Mr Baseball! I grew up with you in my boat and was one of the lucky ones that got to call you MY baseball voice. WE who grew up Brewers fans had nothing to cheer for beyond one 1982 season. So we had Bob. Bob Uecker made baseball fun even when the Brewers were terrible. The one good thing we all had was Bob and Bob was almost enough to be happy with the Brewers. The older he got the more you could hear in his voice he just wanted to win a World Series more than any man in Wisconsin. The better the Brewers got the more Bob held on and he chased that through his final season calling games. He could not make it through an entire game anymore but the innings he chose to cover were always the right sound. Bob Uecker was more than a Sportscaster,TV Star, or comedian. Bob Uecker IS BASEBALL. He bleed Brewers and we are all lesser people now without him. The Brewers will continue on and they will win Championships(someday) and on that day no matter when it happens that championship will be Bobs. The first one is Bobs and any after that can be ours as fans but that first World Series win . That one ..that one is Bobs.

My dad was the one when I was a little kid that always played the radio broadcasts of Brewers games, even if the Brewers were on TV the TV sound would be turned off and the radio broadcast would be on. We lived in Green Bay, so we didn't always get TV broadcasts and in those days back then there was no time delay too. We did the same thing with Packers games back in the day when it was Jim Irwin and Max McGee, another of my found memories of radio sports calling. Those Miller Lite commercials were seriously some of the best ever, the group of guys they assembled to do those commercials might never be matched again. Being from Wisconsin I think everybody in Wisconsin was always proud of Ueck and proud to call him one of our own. I live in Japan now, but I really think I need to get me a Uecker Milwaukee Braves replica jersey so I can wear it here. Can't even say enough, but I know I didn't say enough, one of a kind. You know when you get teary eyed every time you watch all these awesome amazing Uecker dedications, old clips, and what not, that it feels like you lost a part of your family, and if you were a Brewer fan we all lost part of our family. I am so thankful for everybody who has been posting all these great things about Bob, I love seeing the clips, hearing the calls, the interviews, you name it. He is like the Uncle, the Father and Grandfather that adopted us all, all rolled into one.
