I went there when I was a kid between 1985 and 1993. There was a turkey on Thanksgiving, a giant Easter egg and bunny, the Santa, the Valentines display and of course Oscar. It was quite the pilgramage, my familynlive in Oswego County, that wasnt the only animatronics around there, across the plaza there was a Showtime Pizza that became a Chuck E Cheese, it had the Rockafire Explosion, The King and the Bear Jamboree. I almost thing the pizza place hurts Switz's business most people when and didn't buy much then they went acreas the way to buy pizza and play games. I remeber going to the Switz's going out of business sale when I was 11. It hurts to imagine that it's all gone, like tears in the rain.

i remember seeing dean and being confused, my first thought was 'wouldn't he fit better in a western theme?' it's nice to know my line of thought wasn't totally unbased!

It could be a subtheme for grave and bones, like how 2021 had a medieval theme.

The early prototype of the marionette, which is honestly so much better her face looks a lot different because the release model’s face was really goofy and I could actually understand what she’s saying.

Always wanted more country/cowboy related animatronics I hope Home Depot or whoever else sells some new ones in the future that get released

I feel like this could have been cool but my thing would be how to integrate this into a theme. This is my issue with the Nautical props. They are just hard to work with.

Maybe they could release these next year? We’ve seen HD do a medieval and swamp lineup. Next year would be cool to do the Wild West lineup

i would’ve wanted that snake handler skeleton and vulture such a missed opportunity that Home Depot didn’t release this entire lineup :(

It’s a toss up between Dullahan, and Chucky for me. Dullahan is a tank in the wind. 4 rebar stakes, and 40 mph wind didn’t even phase him. He was so impressive that I sold my Costco Headless Horseman because Dullahan was such a huge upgrade being outdoor rated, and wind resistant. Chucky just got so many things right as a licensed animatronic; appearance, animation, and audio. He’s also super easy to put together. Keep doing these annual rankings. Pretty spot on!
