The recording is a little overdriven. If the orriginal isn't, turn down and balance the volume before re-encoding for youtube. The protocols. Opus audio often has trouble with overdriven streams. It is one of the few flaws in the otherwise incredible codec. Make sure to normalize the audio before transcoding for UA-cam uploads. Manually selecting your Opus codec mode to the one that works best also helps. There are several encoding variations to chose from.

I went through hell and high water to get to this show! I had to fight through Golden State Warrior traffic on the 880, and a bart delay to catch a plane to Los Angeles, then a bus, and then skate all the way from Hollywood and Vine to get to the Troubadour. And to make matters even harder, the street was so crowded on Santa Monica Blvd. during pride week. I missed a tiny portion of the show, but it was so worth getting there. MxPx played so well that night. Fun times.
