The instructor demonstrated a very important tip: if the board comes off your feet, immediately let go of the bar to prevent going any further downwind. Although, I might add, in these very light wind conditions, keeping the kite flying is probably a higher priority.

Deploying the rucks before landing is helpful for night jumps because you can hear it land right before you do. Thanks for these videos. Brings back some memories, not all entirely pleasant, although these jumps look like lots of fun.
