it's hard to invest in a property knowing visa requirement & fee keep chaging over the years, furthermore still need to wait for green light to apply MM2H. so much uncertainty since permanent resistance is not allow. too much trouble...... If inverstor have the capital to invest in malaysia, why not invest in local market? 🤔

Mm2h is really overrated and very expensive, there are plenty of Southeast Asians that could give you a better deal than, I love Malaysia but it's not worth it anymore

Can foreigners buy landed property in Putrajaya?

The entire MM2H is non-sense. One spending so much should get working rights plus permanent residency. You want someone to be heavily invested but give them almost nothing in return. There are better options to settle with similar amount with option of working rights and citizenship.

My concern would be the effect if the government decided to change the requirements during your five year period or to change the renewal requirements, or even the bank deposit withdrawal requirements in those five years! A person could be STUCK or lose substantial money! How can we rely on these government decisions?!
