How did you like the Tiffen Axis System? I saw you were in the video. Do you think it is a good system to start out with. I‘m all new to this but i don’t want to buy a low quality system i‘d have to replace too soon. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and approach. This is so helpful

I copied this technique on set and got fired. 😂
Slayyyy
You are so right, its like a sport. The weight The tightness The sweat
I've used my Steadicam on and off for a decade, but recently started really diving in and thinking I want to really dive in and specialize in it.
Got hired for a big production here. Before they met me they hired me, but then when they found out I was white told me it was a BIPOC ONLY production. A friend of mine I worked with was Pacific Islander, and we collaborated a lot. They told me he was ok, but I was not BIPOC. After doing this for years that was the first time was rejected openly for my skin color. I wasn't ok with it when it happened to POC before, and it hurt bad enough, I ended up looking to the corporate world instead of Hollywood in today's climate...
I really want to learn how to operate steadycam and am ready to learn. I'm from Nigeria
Really appreciate the information
This is very inspiring! Hope we get to follow up after a year on the career journey!
at 19:37 the solution is easy, plug in the 1st A\C to charge the volts battery!!! ( if it runs on 240 V A\C {Alternating Current} that is)
at 13:00 why do you connect a monitor to a film camera, and how?, as you have a viewfinder, and the film space, thats it, its not like a digital sensor, which you can route the signal from.
Dopeeee
Heck yeah!
This needs way more than 174 views 🤯🤯 great conversations!🔥🙌 Glad i stumbled across your channel 🙏
I love it!
I’ve only worked on projects shot on digital cinema cameras. Shooting on film can you feel the weight distribution shift as the film goes from one side to the other? How does that affect the balance?
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 This was a fun watch as a female Steadicam operator myself ❤

You didn't answer how you got the camera lol. Good stuff tho buddy. I pray one day i can afford a camera like this.
I got to upload the longer version. But I did a kickstarter for half the money which you can find here: www.kickstarter.com/projects/productionincolor/production-in-color and the rest I got a private loan from family & friends. Then BOOM first camera. I used business credit to finance everything else.
Were can i get more information on this
