Nice build Donny will have to try It out I love the backfire I have many hazard builds you have to try a portection from elite hazard build with backfire I run it in countdown 2 ceska 1 yahal gear 2 improvised with hazard and chit damage and fox s prayer knee pads with hazard run intimidate and rush on back back it you get close range buff in countdown you will hit for 2.5 million with backfire

Just some small adjustments I would make for myself, rolling Pesti to health damage actually helps with DPS a bit more compared armor damage I believe and secondly I would change the bag to a ceska bag bc I find the Umbra bag kinda useless imo, nicely done tho :)

Just two to four things I would change personally. Use the OD chest its crazy strong now, Ceska bag and Coyotes would help immensely with crit damage and chance and lastly prob a different bag talent but that depends if you can keep vigilance active most of the time, can be really strong build :)

Pestilence isnt a status effect. Its a damage tic. It benefits more if you stack damage. My Pestilence build procs 1.4m in heroic. Without max level watch. Think i watched a vid where someone got 1.7m out of it. Status effects are like bleed, electrocution, burn.

Nice build and nice Legmo pieces....I prefer the Sawyers and one of the WH or Hallowman Mack than the HB. Bigger ticks at full stack.

Have you tested a mk17 with boomerang? And I wonder how much dmg difference you’d see if you tested/compared obliterate. I’ve been thinking of ways to use this set, and I keep coming to this setup. I just want to see it compared to less squishy/more sustain (regen maybe? Momento?) type builds and see how much dmg you lose and if it is worth is practically speaking Would be curious to see if you make a video testing other variations out and comparing dmg output numbers

Backfire just falls short. If they tweaked it so that when it hits max stacks it decays stacks like striker instead of instantly disappearing after some seconds. It would be more viable

I just got backfire trying to use it just tough without having the pieces to stop the bleeding

there is another way to get 100% hazard protection, and is more powerfull than this one. I have them both and tested. The second version is with Ninja backpack + 1x Cavalier + 1x Ceska + 1x Yaahl than you add 2x more pieces at your preference [i use a Bellstone as help me survive better and Picaro to add more dmg....also your skills are powerful, tier 4 with Technician 1p, Ninja, 1p, Picaro 2p i use it with yellow core]

The downside to this is you are trading hazard protection for status effects. The bleed serves no point from a damage perspective. The one problem I have with the backfire is the sheer amount of haz pro needed to make the gun usable. I would trade the backfire for a pestilence in this build and at least get the guaranteed plague ticks or add the vile mask. Interesting concept tho
