Hi! ihanvaanvea here from 1:06:20 ! Thank you so much for sharing my song! I'm Finnish and the song is also in finnish! The name, 'koivunlehtiä' means 'birch leaves' in english! I'm currently actually trying to translate the whole song, but meanwhile here's a couple (mediocrely) translated phrases from the chorus: "I am an ancient-old tree I am dried weeds Birch leaves under your rake I am always someone else A rotten log in the shed An acquaintance but still a close friend" My artist name means "simply just Vea" which comes from my name, Eva by rearranging the letters. The song, by one interpretation, discusses the loss from the connection between the former and the current you by using storytelling from "two different persons" perspective and life. I have written and composed this myself and produced it with a friend! I'm a chronically ill singer-songwriter living with hEDS and fibromyalgia etc. and I am trying to make a career out of songwriting when I could pursue it more full-time. Currently I am unable to work and had to put all my energy into making this, so I appreciate your time and your kind words a lot! Thank you! 💚
