Yeah, they changed things like that. For example in mists the shortcut can be opened by specific class/race/profession instead of covenant.

Nothing to do with “dooming “ (what a stupid term) but everything to do with common sense. Just look at the chart. The dmg is way to out there compaired to other classes. Blizzard is horrible at balance they way over do something and then have to bring it way down.

That doesn’t really fit with resto (thematically), ancestors fit both specs a bit better.

@@Juxer_SC you can do it with resto just change the elements the effects and the spells thats it not saying its ez its doable make the eles becomes water drops building water drops will sumon big water ele that casts chain heal rain to the most injured target you can play with this bow ever you wish anssestors are just boring you dont see often they dont have have huge impact on the gameplay of the speccompared to other classes like demonology

Nope. Minor defensive gain from really 1 talent bulwark totem. It’s like a 10% hp shield maybe 15%. The kick defensive is very situational. We’re still going to be squishy imo.

Definitely harder to manage eogs and IF/fusion procs

Nah they don’t stack. For some reason there are just two spell ids. There’s no benefit to having 2 as far as I know

You get to select ascendance and DRE on beta which is awesome. DRE has the same proc chance though

@@Bondbl Being able to line up stormbringer with ascendance looks amazing as well, not having to solely rely on using it and pray for a DRE proc. Farseer is looking pretty good. Would like to see you run a lightning build in one of these higher keys.

@@BerZerHk yeah, ele always was stange... Legion was crazy AoE and shitty ST, Dragonflight ele is mediocre in both but dies from everything :) This expansion talent tree fix survival issue, really hope that they gonna buff earthquake and earth shock/ele blast, hate to ignore them and have prio on spammable abilities, that's feel so wrong.

@@voidgrim9465 Actually on Dragonflight, i have no problem with my survability, (Maybe cause i know how to dodge thing 😅and use healing surge on me), but yeah, buffing our survive is a great thing. Actually, i was thinking about a sort of "elem double spec" cause we have the same tree for fire and "nature" spell.. this means that we don't really have a real choice to make in our talent tree (at least that's my opinion) depending on what we want to play. It's just a feeling 😌I know it's not really achievable but if the devs continue on this path, that's fine with me too, there's just an adjustment to make on the orion flame spread. (Just imagine earthquake spread ALL ennemies (6) getting orion flames 😯) Whatever, i hope you understand me, i'm not the best with the English language 😅

Btw I like that we can just get fusion and not go balls deep into that path, you are playing an -almost- identical build to the one I've made, but, don't you think eye of the storm is worth it? Also, just wanna say that even if I think that farseer sucks and it's the stupid little brother of sunfury, I like exploiting the interaction between fusion elemental blasts and ancestor e.blasts to practically double or even triple proc eotgs without us using EB ourselves and I normally would like the depth of tracking ancestors, but at the same time, I find it clunky. Maybe they should make em use EB when they spawn, and not when they despawn.

If they tune them up yea perhaps lightning builds will run them. Right now their damage sucks so no on that answer :(. If they do buff them were probably looking at replacing talents in the middle line searing flames perhaps? Once they start finalizing changes and sim profiles come out we will have a better idea.
