I know his days are numbered, so each time like this evening is a gift. He's so emaciated because his organs cannot absorb nutrients like they used to, but he eats like a cow, which means he's not hungry but his body is starving. I've never had a dog who lived till almost 18 years old, so I'm learning how to best support him physically and mentally, and I know he's not in pain and still enjoys ...
