Trying to write a song on my guitar
Came up with some chords last night. Lyrics this morning. Tried to put them together. Guitar is a Kepma Mini from MusicBliss Malaysia. Just plain into my iPad mics. Yes my room is a mess currently! (fixed the audio clipping)

Casio Edifice 580 mini review

Unboxing my first s.steel Casio and first impressions. For under $100 it punches like a $300 watch, just that it’s quartz. Battery life should exceed 6 years, resetting once a year. A great wear and forget piece, imho.

I briefly test whether these budget Chinese lenses @Shopee are up to the job or are they worthless? This is my first video on my new setup which is Cinema FV-5 on my budget Nokia c01u Plus and Filmora which I should eventually register and own. The backing audio track is from an original song by me, "Need you back" recorded on an AKG Ara USB mic.
Ziko classical strings review

I test out the Ziko DPA-70 classical guitar nylon strings albeit with Savarez Kristal trebles. Only my basses snapped so I saved a bit by maintaining the trebles. I used the Boya V20 wireless 2-microphone system and the audio is quite accurate, played through Edifier bookshelves. May need to turn up your volume.
Budget SHURE vs Budget Chi-Fi (KZ audio)

I had always wanted to compare the lowest cost Chi-fi to the lowest cost American-fi. So I chose the ZST for $13, and the se112 for 3x the price. It was the most fun I had in a long time. Malaysian chips are now sanctioned by the US, what next? I’m scared. But still an honest audiophile to the last. These are both good phones, well worth checking out.

These are my watches so far, all affordable, on various aftermarket straps. I have all but stopped buying timepieces. But I do hope to one day own a luxury watch circa $2-3k.
Houm air circulator fan

I finally caved to this beautifully designed fan sold at AlliThypermaket a train hop from where I live. Used to admire it everytime I visited AlliT at Digital Mall. In the video, it goes haywire in my room, blowing stuff off the walls and ceiling while I tested it at full speed. You have been warned. At under $100 this will be great for our new house on those humid Malaysian evenings.
Straps that usually don’t match

I am a terrible clothes, shoes, and watch straps matcher but I have a few watches that I paired up with unusual bands, actually work well. Have a look and see if you’ve been missing out on some off the wall ideas too! I wear a Decathlon quick dry sweat top and Oakley plazma sapphires. The guitar intro is from a song of mine, Ode to Mandy played on a Yamaha c40 with Savarez strings.

I just got this amazing watch, the FEM0301YC9 with a dial like nothing I’d seen before and I believe it is my “grail compromise”. It works on my 6 3/4” wrist especially on this dark brown aftermarket leather band. Accuracy is a bit of an issue but nothing you can’t remedy with a little care handling it and resting it overnight. STT is a deep game of strategy. Mine is pretty solid but lately I have gravitated away from aliexpress Chinese watches to Casios. A company that is bona fide mad about their watches

A little, on the hands. Not great by any standard. My 2200 G-Shock has also poorer lume. Would recommend a Marathon GPQ if you don’t mind the size, have a suitable wide strap
