The "Moe Howard Years" encompasses the ENTIRE history of the Three Stooges. Moe was the first Stooge to be recruited by Ted Healy in 1922 and he made every effort to keep the act going until his death in 1975.

It's nitpicking time! 1. Shemp's original surname was Horwitz, not Horowitz. 2. Shemp's birth date was 3/11/1895, not 3/17/1895. 3. Larry joined Healy's act in the late 1920s, not 1922.

And Knutzy Knights was the last film appearance of supporting actor Vernon Dent. He suffered from diabetes, and went blind shortly thereafter. He was fully blind at the time of Shemp's death, and had to be led to Shemp's casket, where he very gently felt Shemp's hands and face as a way of saying goodbye to his friend. As Emil Sitka remarked, It was the most moving thing I ever saw.

I don't count Joe Besser and Joe DeRita as part of that team. They are poor substitutes, and Besser is better off as a solo comic. When Larry, and then Moe passed away in 1975, they are rejoined with Healy, Curly, and Shemp on the 3rd plane, making more movies and having their own TV shows ...😊

❤😂😅😊 I still love the Three stooges to this day. I've been watching them since the mid 1960s. When I used to come home from school. I thought it was something new they put on TV in the afternoon. My favorite was always curly. I love curly the stunts he did in the Three stooges and everything. May Joe beslo rest in peace but I didn't like him as a stooge he wasn't good as a third stooge I liked all the others too and shem too. May they all rest in peace. They're my favorite comedy team of all time. Thank you and God bless.

its soooo sad to hear shemp passed away lighting up a cigar in the taxi cab, well, being he had a phobia of driving & or being driven, maybe that is what caused him to die in the taxi itself, he dont like being driven by car, so this a possibility his heart gave out!!
