Awesoem video man. How are you holding up after Helene?
@derektracy7126 Thank you. We were right on the west side. It shifted east just a hair, and we got spared any real damage. We suffered tremendously with Hurricane Michael on Oct 10th, 2018. We lived in Mexico Beach FL. And took a direct hit from the Eastside of the Eye wall. 155 mile an hr winds and a 22ft tide surge. Wiped Mexico Beach off the Map. We no longer live there as the result. . So even though we got spared. It's bitter sweet. Those poor people where it did hit. NC and cedar key. Probably more then you asked for but I really appreciate you watching and asking.
Not sure how I feel about the baby blue

That's a pretty bike, but that trunk looks kinda funny😂
Blue please it’s in my garage 2024 T7… Birthday gift to myself.
This guy must not be a rider smh

Oh shit, thats what those things are. I always thought they were leather bangles that dolled up their bikes. Daaamn, was i off course. Nasty little ditties for sure.
@jenette16 That's the point I'm trying to convey. We thought the same as you. Could you imagine how bad one would feel after one of those things got hung up on a car. Or anything. And we just wanted to spruce our rides up.
even worse attached to the brake and clutch levers
Right after the video he was promptly flogged by the owner of said bike.
@@joetroutt7425 with the get BACK WHIPS. LMAO
Fantastic machine yes please ❤
Did you watch the related video on the 1995 triumph?
Great bike!!
No loose clothing or loose flying things from a bike or riding to close to a vehicle because things they would just run over because of slow reaction time could shoot out from the back and literally take a head off or limb or could get caught in spokes or even blow a front tire or rear while interstate riding at a higher speed and if you have never blown a tire this way its not a happy ending, I've watched a young man wreck and go flying long ways through the air and an aluminum light pole went right through him and I turned around to find him hollering his legs were gone and used his arms to pull him self towards me and it was terrible to watch .
@user-ft8kz6yc2q JESUS!!!! That's the point I'm emphasizing. We ride for the absolute pleasure. Knowledge helps keep us as safe as possible in a deadly sport. We don't need any help with things that are mindless Hazzard. Have you ever become an instant genius after a accident was created by not being aware. I'm actually trying to help. Thank you for you commenting.
'When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail'.
Use quick disconnect
They look like the bike has pig tails.
You are wrong. But you are close. 35 miles away in Big Piney the ice box of the nation. Lived there 41 years. We drove to Pinedale to warm up.
It's so sad Harley went woke.
Always been just out of my grasp. Worked my butt off for years to get one of these and never could afford it. Now I can’t work. Screw this life.
Some damn good fishing Fremont and Cola lakes Boulder lake is good fishing if you like to fish lakes ..?
@@janetgilmore8006 we were out that way this month. We traveled all over on our bikes. Shame we couldn't have fished those lakes. I'm an avid fisherman also. Ty for your comment
@@parcadv419 yes..then Glendo then we did not get fish at Glendo so we packed up and drove at night to Walden Co. Cowdry was great for big Rainbows seems they love that copper spoon , ate some nice meals of fresh rainbow trout , now we are camped at Delaney Butts the fishing is better at night Browns on Wooly buggers all colors olive, black green with 4ft leader with bubble copper spoon just before dark we got good hits and ate 2 nice Browns last night ..? What a beauty....
I have never seen so many in one spot.
It looks like they’re flashing colors, red and gold. I wonder what motorcycle club runs red and gold. Might want to stay away from there. Bike
The fairing is DESIGNED to protect the hands. Those handlebars not only are defeating that purpose, they look STUPID, ruining a $25,000 motorcycle.
Strange motorcycle rider.
'Get back whips' look cool but I think their purpose is childish and they don't even actually do anything. Like, you think someone who's paying so little attention that they're running you over is going to stop and swerve because of a rope? And how are you going to actually use it faster than you could have just avoided the vehicle? Plus, I really don't like the idea of having dangly bits on my bike just begging to catch something. To each their own and I'll never judge anyone for having them but, they're just not for me. I'll do other, probably dumber, stuff to my old p.o.s. bike.
I do like the spikes on there though. Extra ouchies.
Dude, you pull them off and use them as a whip. You don’t whip with them still attached. That being said, they look stupid so they are a bad idea
@@AustinBailey-lp5sg I'm getting a big education on them. Still sticking to the point 👉
They barely move in the wind at 90 mph so I don’t think they are a hazard, other than to use it as a weapon. But that’s not for me, and that’s not my style, and don’t care much for it.
Literally just watched a video last night of a guy that had a sleeping bag come unraveled and got stuck in his back tire. Locked it up and he high sided. Lost his lower leg over it.
@@LeeCampbell6581 moto Giant
The get back whip is for the little pee pee rider.
Getting on a bike is a sketchy act in itself 😂
Everybody ain't made to ride. Stay in your car and stay off your phone.
That’s right . 50 years of riding . Your best bet is to always assume the other guy is going to do the dumbest thing possible 😂
Those are "get back whips." They're not superficially attached to the bike. They pop of easy. They're there for those times when some asshole in a red t top tries to turn into the bike. Not intimidation. That car driver will think more than twice next time after the first time they have to replace their windshield because they got whipped by this biker. Yes. It's necessary.
You should talk to the owner about that and not hide behind UA-cam.
@mmruma your right. Once that admission was made . He had left. It would have been a better clip if I had. I have talked to several riders about these but when I saw this bike I just went for it.
Get back whips are a quick disconnect and should only be used by people who MIND THIER OWN BUSINESS! The real "bad idea" is posting a video about something you know ZERO about.
@CLADAWG very clever writing.
@CLADAWG Have SEEN THE ONES WITH GRAPPLING HOOKS . Sure to snatch of what ever comes in contact. These will sell out. Then snatching DONT DO THIS CAN READ , OH HELL HE DID IT ANYWAY.
My sister had them on her bike in the 70,s
If you think it’s a bad idea then don’t put them on your bike. Mind your own business. It’s not your bike
Should be called I’m a dumbass whip
Should be called I’m a dumbass whip
But what will the tough guys do without them?
Its also really gay lookin
Yeah, and helmet laws save lives.
It always reminded me of little girls with the tassels hanging off the grips. Kinda makes the bike look lame imo. But i have bad taste so take that for what little its worth 🤷🏼♂️
@cali5ive124 my wife saw them and was just like a little girl . She was all about getting them. I'm happy she went with the small fringe on her seat instead.
They’re attached to the brake and clutch levers which is even worse imo. Harley riders love to play dress up with themselves and their bike instead of just leaving the thing functional and wearing a helmet lmao
Dress up? It’s nice to be able to hide behind your iPhone. If you said that to my face, your ride home would be in an ambulance.
@@mmruma if we both fell you’d be in the ambulance lmao. Wear some proper gear when you ride, you’ve got family to come home to
@mmruma HILARIOUS! Making threats behind your iPhone to someone who made a comment behind theirs.
@@steverobbins240 You're on dope. I didn't threaten anyone.
No, I don't see what you're saying. There's no way in hell those are going to catch on a guard rail or another vehicle. All your doing is complaining like a little bitch.
Get back whips? Get over it and move on. Life is too short. They look about as cool as a skull mask. IMO
You sound like someone who would like to trample over more of my liberties, to keep me safe. Maybe that's the reason for the device, to keep you out of my lane 🤨
@@rangercisco1 Dam Right!
They're not attached to the bars when you have to use them. You have no idea what you're talking about.
@user-bc3dh9gl1h ofcourse I don't thanks for your comment
Those are for dumbasses who want to look like tough guys.
... Those are breakaway clips on the “get back whips”. They come off the levers when in use, click back in when done.
I just took mine off cause it was pulling in my clutch when I get up to 120 130kph
Weak
The touch screen is, everybody else is distracted, now the riders are too.
