Mental well being, outnaboutmedia.uk started due to a disability I have of ptsd. Forcing myself to go out & took photos & videos after posting of social media I found a lot of people liked & got something out of it. So the journey began.
I’m new at this, but it’s helping me mentally & to get out n about. It’s also helping others. I have a simple website outnaboutmedia.uk for my photos.
Photos are also now posted on my Chanel.

The famous Spanish city in Whitley bay, North Tyneside UK. I’m 53 and when I visited as a child, it was full of slot machines etc, with dodgem cars and other shows at the rear. Now transformed. Popular for anglers & St Mary’s lighthouse near the caravan park which has a seal population. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spanish_City

Durham City by drone, safe in a field with public access, no one around. Durham has 4 prisons, HMPDurham in the city centre, which holds men & women, HMPFrankland a high security prison, HMPLow Newton a female prison, HMP Deerbolt, a young offenders prison. Angel of The North, north east UK. The site of the former colliery pithead baths, was reclaimed & the sculpture was put up in 1998. It's 20 metres, 65ft high, wingspan of 54 metre, 175 ft. google it. Collywell Bay was our playground when we were kids .My Grandparents lived above the old co-op in Albert Terrace.. My Grandad had a fishing boat in the harbour called Kingfisher. Marshall family Seaton Sluice.
Lorna thank you for commenting, I do this for my mental health and for others to enjoy. Hopefully it brought back some good memories. Thanks for sharing some of your personal history too. I put most of my videos on my personal facebook page, because by the time I’ve got home, downloaded, edited and put it on Facebook. Sometimes i forget or get thoughts of, oh I’ll do it later and takes time. Shaun Spowart the main picture on my Facebook is the sea with a kestrel at the sand dunes between Blyth & Seaton sluice & the round photo is a man kneeling down, right hand raised up. Thank you. I’m loving the challenge of circling things for some reason, suppose, the challenge. Press record & take the stills from videos. I had a go at my first moving ship some time ago, it wasn’t that easy. I honestly thought I wasn’t going to find anywhere as it’s on the Main Street. I found a lay-by seconds up the Rd. Facing directly towards the castle. Thought that was it. Where you based.? 👍👌😀

Typo you can’t fish from a boat in the river. Trawler man came to inform him to contact the harbour master
