i have tested more than 200 maps on each 300%+ rarity and 100% rarity and no rarity. the results shown that only the rarity of item drops is affected only normal to magic and magic to rare, unique items and currencies are unaffected, currencies only are affected by quantity and biome, just to clarify for everyone i have tested it with 5 socked rarity regalia all on 15+ maps.

whenever i use my price check hotkey it saves a clip i changed my hotkey and still saves a clip is there a way to turn clips off?

You can do the trial as low as level as 61 with only 3 floors for the last ascendency points. Should be very easy with decent honor résistance

i am not able to do these trials with my warrior while other classes are just running through the rooms and bosses why even play it .... when i can use 3 buttons and kill the rooms no problem .... defnetly needs some more balance work for sure

I find the ascendancy the most annoying and boresome activity in the game. I am level 65 and so far I have only bothered to do the first 2 points. I dont see the other to somehow be significant and been able to progress easily. If rewards were bigger, I would push myself to it, but until I hit some big chokepoint, I will just ignore the trials

Interesting that you got almost double the rarity drops which aligns with your percentage which is roughly over double base rarity. I wonder if this continues to scale the more rarity you get. So if you had 400% rarity would you have found 4x the amount?

With +70 you get like 4 ex per T8 map

I've used it now. I can see it being good in the future, but I'm getting a looot of 'Trade site request failed' and Query is too complex', when I've chosen only 2 or 3 of the parameters...

So I'm giving this a try on poe2 but when the program is on my mouse wheel scrolls further than normal and skips every other tab on my stash. Really messing with my flow :) Any chance anyone knows how to remedy that? Much appreciated <3 edit; i wonder if its because im holding ctrl to scroll the stash...?

Weird I tested 10 Rare T1 maps with bosses using 146% Item Rarity AND a golden charm (additional 20 mf on rare/unique kill for a total of 166% on rares/bosses) juiced with overlapping precursor tablets and the drops were anemic as was the currency. Curiously, the only thing that seemed "better" were the actual items themselves. Items seemed to relatively consistently have better stats/rolls, not even just the ones that were "tier 2" None of the league mechanics, just normal maps and "contains Deadly Boss". Either I got incredibly unlucky or item rarity is much less useful than people are claiming. Prior to testing item rarity I ran around valley of the titans in a circle that crosses through about 5 different rare mobs consistently and ended with 2 Ex and 1 Regal in about 5 minutes with the only item rarity being on my ring (25%). As I was level 80 and got that much currency in a completely trivial zone in such a short span I bought the highest item rarity items I could find + 30% movement speed and tested the same area, drops/currency weren't good. tested T1 Rare maps instead, drops/currency weren't good. As always YMMV, but in my experience item rarity is a placebo effect enhanced by response bias.

Running full rarity deadeye (around 180 rarity on gear + gold charm), breach farming in t1-t5 + only maps with rarity in the prefix. My best result was 14 raw exalts in a single map + lots of regals e.t.c. Overall, on average I expect around 5 raw exalt drops per map.

I'm new to poe2, would these gloves at 41% rarity increase be worth 1 exalted? I'm guessing so based on your results, but I've never traded before.

I knew the effects were insane. I played with a friend who got some +40% item rarity unique gloves and he dropped about as many exalts in act1 as I did in maps. So I made a new character with the intent of stacking item rarity + unique gloves that make any kill count as mine. But its nice to see that effect actually quantified. Even if the test was pretty small scale (a sample size of 10 isn’t a lot). I much appreciate the data. Because even if 10 maps isn’t a large sample size: that still takes a lot of time.

I’m running tier 1 maps with shitty gear with maximum rarity (was easy to buy on the trade website) and getting waaay better loot than tier 15 maps.

Nah this stat is rlly good ngl If you wanna farm I rerolled a new char and kept most of my gear had about 30% item chance I got 3 uniques so far in act 1-2 and I’d say about 10 exalted

Are you running rarity on your gear? Also just to clarify, I did not run any league mechanics on these maps, they were just normal maps to keep the test as consistent as possible.
