Hello, I’m sorry I just noticed your comment! I’m not racing for likes so I just don’t care but I am happy if I can help :) I’m not sure about the exact type of rope but I believe it’s some kind of paracord, I’ve braided it myself. I did start with the coton rope they gave with the dart but it eventually wore off so I decided I would try to braid another one myself. I will not lie to you, it does eventually burn and I think the coton based one is better for comfort on the long run. Good luck with finding tutorials, I don’t think I’m good at that so I’d rather just show off what I can do. I like to keep it simple and practical as can be, especially in a combat situation. We would not have time to do fancy moves if we ever had to defend ourselves xD To finish with, I like to remind people that it is a weapon and not just a toy as many people start to believe. One of the reasons why I do not exist in the community as I feel like the martial aspect of ropedarting is way downplayed. To each their own I guess.
