I like this Super chill content pulled a gold Mewtwo today and than a regular ex about ten minutes later.. now just gotta get those dang gardeviors.. my favorite deck is still lilligant, venasuar , exeggutor ex.

The winner had slightly too many trainers, they agree themselves and also used subpar monsters. They did this mostly to always keep the field full with electric cards. This is the issue with 20 card decks and only playing to 3. it's just not competitive. You give yourself the best odds but the top 5 electric decks were about the same in terms of skill. Try to play as few items, trainers and tier 2 mosnters as possible. They are inconsistent and bad for the deck. Any Basic ex that is viable will be powerful. Any Tier 1 that performs well will be great. Tier 2 mons are inconsistent and playing 2 full lines is just foolish. Too inconsistent. If there was an ultraball it would have been fine, or other searchers. Winners in tournaments will mostly be playing mons like the zapdos/mewtwo/picachu that all perform great despite being basic EXs. Misty is the best card in the game but swings too much for competitive. It is frustrating and throws like every 3-4th match straight down the drain. Also worse choises for mons. TLDR: Basic EX are S tier. Tier 2 is not consistent.

Playing misty is literally that lets go gambling meme. Plus its awful to get sacked by an opponent's misty closing the energy gap

I seriously hate this deck. It's impossible to beat in solo even with water mons. Because the cheating AI always brings Charizard out so quickly, and it's ridiculously overpowered...

Healing with venusaur is really strong I just wish you could power it up a bit faster. Between having to draw into your evolutions at the right time and attaching 4 energy it can be tough

I really hope they support this game on the competitive side. It’s very accessible and has cool cards, it’s just that half of the gym leader support cards are so useless, and half the energy types aren’t good either like grass, dragon, dark, steel

I would almost set this up similarly to a Dragonite / Weezing decklist without any Dark energy: x2 Koffing x2 Weezing x2 Abra x2 Kadabra x2 Alakazam x2 Professor Oak x2 Pokeball x2 Koga x2 Sabrina x2 Potion Optional Substitutes: X-Speed Red Card The TLDR strategy: set up Weezing to tank and gas leak, while Alakazam gets set up. Koga / X Speed out for Alakazam win condition.

Alakazam is super cool, wish there was some evolution search to make it more consistent

Only thing i gotta say is try to fix ur mic so its not picking up so much dead air slash static.

Meowth really adds some consistently if you get it in the starting hand
